Hey this is a great free plugin - really nice for dirty and warped delays.
But there is one mistake (*maybe it was intentional, but I think maybe it was an oversight) which maybe you can fix in the new version? It is the position of the filter in the delay feedback loop.
Having the 2 options for filter on the output only, or in the feedback for more dramatic cascading coloring, is great -BUT the current version uses a strange signal route for the filter in the feedback loop, and I think you will see the problem.
SOUND IN > DELAY > OUTPUT > FEEDBACK TO FILTER > DELAY > OUTPUT > FEEDBACK TO FILTER > DELAY > OUTPUT > ETC
The result is this > 1St DELAY (PERFECTLY CLEAN) > 2nd DELAY (FILTERED) > 3rd DELAY (EVEN MORE FILTERED)
Which makes it very mismatched when doing any effects with a strong filter. The first delay is always a crystal full-range copy of the input with no filter, then the second delay onward is filtered. Sounds very weird.
If it was intentional, I'd like to beg for a 3rd filter mode that goes in this order >
SOUND IN > FILTER > DELAY > OUTPUT > FEEDBACK TO FILTER > DELAY > ETC
This way, every delay including the first gets shaped by the filter, with each subsequent delay becoming more and more colored as they stack up.

That doesn't seem like a mistake. You can change the location of the filter to be at the input or in the feedback loop, as you like. Having the filter in the loop path mimics how a bbd or tape delay works, but more radically. I personally love it.wibblywobblywomble wrote: Fri Dec 19, 2025 9:10 pm Hey this is a great free plugin - really nice for dirty and warped delays.

Hello everybody and thanks for the interest
The plug-in is all cleaned up now, with 10 more years of experience it improves the luck needed to find nasty issues or things that are not working as expected (hello delay time drifting)
At the moment I’m wondering what are the additions that would make sense for a plug-in that is supposed to stay simple to use and to keep its original philosophy. I will release something next week whatever answers I get, like a public beta

Actually, the main setting applies the filter to each echo, whereas the filter in the feedback does the same thing but not on the very first one. I’m not sure there is any need to have the filter both on the delay path and on the feedback path at the same time, it would be a bit overkill, if I have understood properly your message

Can't wait! It's my go-to Delay plugin for anything from simple slapback to crazy dub effects. Thank you, Ivan!

Thanks for replying - and...I am an idiot! I must have remembered the "main" setting wrong.
Was there any particular inspiration for the "feedback" option where the first delay is completely unfiltered? Is it based on a particular unit, or something you wanted from another delay? It just seems weird to me, because I am used to hardware or plugins where the filter affects the first delay and is applied again each time it repeats.
Anyway Spaceship delay is awesome, and I'm sure "The Great Escape" is gonna be awesome too.

One thing I like in a delay is individual pan and volume for Right and Left. Also as suggested already Dark mode and resize.

OK one more issue or two to solve and the update will be available for Xmas
I wanted to do a very simple and fast update for the new OSes, I ended up rewriting a ton of stuff and finding new issues to solve / new features to add every single day
