Sounds great! (again)

What bothers me a bit is that most of these big fat sounds seem to be sample based (at least where the osc panel is shown in the vid). Ana has 3 "real" oscillators with unison, WT morphing, FM, PWM, LFOs and some cool effects and whatnot, shouldn't it be possible to generate rich, complex timbres from basic elements?

The only one thats really using samples is the A New Dawn Pad.

The rest are using the main oscs and just using the sampler for white noise.

The one I liked the least :) . Ofc, using samples for noise it totally ok.

Should you feel like making more demos, could you show some more unusual sounds? Idk, FM sweeps, synced waves, the new vowel filters.

I didn't read thru every page and every post, so sorry if this been asked before. I read that it's new code and the presets from ANA 1.5 will not work 100%, and that there will be a preset converter eventually.

But my question is if ANA 2 can simply be installed side by side with ANA 1.5?

I used ANA a lot in various projects and I bought many preset packs for it, so this an important point for me.

Cheers!

Could be wrong. I don't own it, but I thought ANA used impulses or single cycles for OSCILLATORS.

How big is the GUI? Bigger then DUNE 2 I hope.

Can you explain a little how the arp works? I see Note 1, Note 2, etc, on the left side, but unsure how that would work.

how useful is keyboard on the virtual synth?

When I am out from my home and working from my laptop I think the keyboard is very useful. I use it when I tweak the sound or just as a preview when scrolling thru presets. In FL Studio I can also shift between the plugin GUI and the FL Studio wrapper in case the plugin doesn't have keyboard but that approach is very annoying.

The Arp is essentially a dynamic 6 note polyphonic stepsequencer. There are 6 note bins.

When you play a chord the note bins fill up from lowest to highest. (Or highest to lowest.. you can choose)

It’s bettee than an Arp as you can specify the pattern and better than a step seq as you can specify the notes on the fly.

It’s inspired by a Yamaha PSR 70 I had as a kid where you record a pattern but could change it on the fly by playing different chords.

It works really well IMO.

I’ll be doing some in depth videos over the next couple of weeks where I’ll explain in more detail.

Because you had your price and release meeting yesterday, could you drop some information please???

Post

Im not allowed to say the specifics yet... but essentially there will be upgrade voucher codes sent out to ANA 1 users with a value based on how much they paid for ANA 1. so if you bought at full price £50 you get a voucher for £50 etc.

Then there will be an introductory offer for the first few weeks. and Subscribers will get a discount too.

As always with our stuff it will be priced super competitive.

We are just getting the web page up with release details then all will be revealed.
