I was curious about browser-based DAWs.... so many!
The ones with * allow online collaboration:

* Bandlab
* Ohm Studio
* Soundation
* Soundtrap
* AudioSauna
* Audiotool
* Amped Studio
* Endless Studio

Soundbridge
Internet DAW
PulseBoy

I don't think they qualify as "Strange"
Same with mobile DAWs

Not a full-on DAW per se, but anyone remember AudioGL?

Never made it out of beta and long since abandoned. Had some great demo videos you'll find on Youtube.

Not really a DAW but still a rather crazy midi setup to get to the innards of the Atari 800XL. In 1985 my brother and sister bought one of these and I still have it today, although no longer working for some reason.
