yeah... plus you can dramatically shape the sound while still sounding natural.

Truly mind blowing! I thought there was no room left for innovation in synthesis but this raises the bar.

Yeah, somehow the free running sines can have an aura of spaciousness to them, probably because the phases unaligned quickly and sound diffuse. The Diffusion parameter in reverbs is commonly a control to mash up phases.

i love the wavetable editing, it seems like its the easiest way to do it

Remarkable! I can hardly wait. You are obviously proud of your baby, and rightfully so. Kudos, Mr. Heckman.

For a long time I've thought about applying that "phase rotation" behavior allpass filters are known for to each harmonic. It's a really exciting concept that makes us rethink why we use reverb in the first place.Urs wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 4:06 pm Yeah, somehow the free running sines can have an aura of spaciousness to them, probably because the phases unaligned quickly and sound diffuse. Very much looking forward to giving Zebralette 3 a go!
One big request, not sure if this would be for Zebralette or Zebra 3, but........
PLEASE let (as an option) the triggering of the envelopes be independent from the voice that it's modulating.
Especially in some electronic styles, you want to be able to choose exactly when an envelope triggers by either using a ghost note (so, a note that doesn't trigger the voice) or even with a different MIDI channel.
This option (ghost note) is available in Avenger and i use it all the time!

There should be Head Explodes patch that morphs from whole head to one in pieces spread around. Morph engine can do it!
Murderous duck!

I'm guessing you are on the beta team!
I remember doing some pretty cool percussive sounds with Zebra's comb model. This is gonna up it a notch.
What I was pleasantly surprised though is that Zebralette 3 seems to also moonlight as a free wavetable editor with export. This is awesome! All this just makes me even more excited for Zebra 3. It will be worth the wait!

Plus you have fine control over the sound and how it decays without that control being time consuming!paradiddle wrote: Fri Jan 26, 2024 12:01 pm I can imagine some pretty wild metallic percussive sounds out of that.
Stuck in Aperture Laboratories for a 2nd time!

The "Twinkletoes" texture is so pretty! u-he has always been at the top of the game when it comes to the cutting-edge of synthesis and how 3D you can sound. Without samples or even physical modeling, the patches sound very realistic! I can only imagine how pretty that patch will sound with other oscillators to layer with ^^
