Both of them?
Can you elaborate the reason, or just "not good sounding enough"? :?:

Post

Syntronik Free is largely unusable - some of the patches are atonal mess.. and there's no real "analog" vibe to them. Maybe I'm just a spoiled brat but if you want this sort of thing, seek: Diva, Dune 2, LuSH-101, Lil' Poly-Ana, Monark etc. For a gigabyte on my hardrive, I'm not so keen.

The Chillout pack is basically a couple of very cheesey "canned" lounge-esque downtempo songs cut into different stems which you can trigger in pieces - nothing that resembles St Germain, Bonobo, Theivery Corporation, Air etc. I found 1 or 2 nice percussion loops hidden in there which I might sample out and use elsewhere.

This purely my own subjective opinion and yours may differ.

Yeah, I didn't bother with the "Chill Out" pack and I have plenty of hard drive space, but, parent asked whether it was worth the bother. I would say that it's not that interesting. I wouldn't waste much time building patches with it TBH. I installed it to listen to the filters, I would say "circuit modeled" has become like the word "organic" with respect to food, it doesn't seem to mean very much.

YMMV.

BTW Ozone 7 Elements is included with Sound Forge Audio Studio 12 (see my previous post) as well as Magix Audio Cleaning Lab and Music Maker.
Where can you find infos about that ???? - I could update/upgrade to MMaker but it doesn't say anything about an included O7Elements anywhere on their (German) site ?!?

Post

Ozone Elements 7 is suddenly on sale all over the place as well, just $29 at JRR shop for example

In fact, just $24.65 when put in basket :tu:

Could it be so that Ozone 8 is just around the corner?

I didn't download this to find out the answer, but from my googling, it may be that the version of Ozone Elements included with Audio Studio is locked to Audio Studio and can't be used outside of it. This was certainly the case right up to Audio Studio 11 and unless Magix have renegotiated the license with Izotope, it probably remains the case now.

Sorry for the confusion (English is my first language :dog: ). I have edited my deals post to make it clear that Ozone Elements, Audio Cleaning Lab and Music Maker are included when you buy/upgrade to Sound Forge Audio Studio 12.
I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.

Can you confirm (if you know) if Elements is usable outside of Audio Studio (eg Reaper) or whether it is locked in (as it used to be). I know someone posted they could use it in Sonar... anyone else know for sure?
