Unfortunately the new 2140 does not behave exactly like a 2040. But at least we can now measure all that easily

That's true. But it could be the case that in the process of "improving" the original they removed some of the things people liked about it. Wouldn't be the first time in the world that happened. I'd definitely be curious to hear Urs' subjective and objective thoughts on this once the analysis is complete. Like, are the differences things that are clearly audible or the types of things most people wouldn't hear/care about? Does one subjectively "sound better"?
