Had a particularly poor experience with NI support related to a voucher. At the end of the day, others are discounting heavily and putting out some crazy offers, but NI are not. There's no compelling reason for me to go for them, given that others are offering more of what I want for less money.

It provides instant mapping and preset management of most plugins. Also, it does this cool thing where it pre-loads the next instrument in your preset list to making it faster to scroll through presets.
Actually, as of 3.0 it doesn't preload instruments in the presets list. It has, however, a pretty sophisticated plugin caching system, so that it can reuse plugins you have loaded previously. This lets you switch between presets faster than in other hosts.
Just bought that thing, 39€ at VSTBUZZ, but beware! --> http://www.kvraudio.com/product/vip-vir ... views/4951

In theory it's worth it - just keep in mind once your year of WUP runs out, if for any reason you need to update the plugins you will be paying $200+ to get WUP again or you would need to upgrade to a higher bundle.

I’m using VIP since version 1 with my Advance keyboard without problem.

No, cause Waves.

Today only, Gumroad is reverting all their proceeds to Unicef hurricane relief efforts in Puerto Rico.

(I think there is only a few hours left.)

Some nice audio stuff in Gumroad, Inear Display, Puremagnetik and others use it as their e-commerce store.

Just got the usual signed up for emails from the usual suspects. Reach my point of 'enough of the long list of company stock images'. It would be nice if you guys gave us a 'text only' option there.

For example: JRRshop; AudioDeluxe; Plugin Boutique...

In all fairness, Uncle E does usually give just a text version in the "no chat" forum.

They do highlights here and all links are usually linked together to one page. And often for products I will most likely never have any interest in.
Also, many times, I haven't the time or inclination to check KVR. But I do check my email daily. TBF, I'm just suggesting they make a change that allows me TBF to them.

Your point is fair and to the point in all fairness.

It's getting rare that I find anything that's of much use to me in these e-mails, endless feeling of deja vu in people trying to sell me things that I either have enough decent examples of anyway or stuff that I'm unlikely to use if I did bite.

I like them - happy to spend a few seconds scanning to see if there's anything that grabs my interest.

But there is always new users that haven't got the backlog that find it interesting.

Maybe vendors could make special E-mails with offers to temp us users who already have it all :D
