I sent GR2 back to American musical cuz I thought the soundcard in the Rig Kontrol 2 was crappy. I bought GR1 at guitar center for $150.00 becuase rig kontrol one is plenty for me. Anyway, I got a email from NI stating that they are shipping me my free update to GR2!
I wasn't expecting that!!

What was crappy about the sound card in RK2? What it the quality of the I/Os or the latencies?

It had a default buffer setting of 512mb and even at that, it was crackly.
I didn't like how loud the foot switches were either. They had a prettly loud pop everytime I would change presets, not a pop through the speakers, just the sound of the switches themselves.

I'm almost drunk, too. Which is pathetic since it's only one beer. That's what happens when you're famished with a completely empty stomach, are a skinny lightweight to begin with, are tired, and guzzle your beer.

Sounds like a winning formula for cash savings on the old alcohol fund!

i, for one, wish for about 4500 possible amp combinations. thats my mark, my personal one. i achieved these combinations with real amps, and now i want the same from software.
you ask how i did that? well, i have no neighbours. thats the trick, and that alone.

at the end of this month or early february.
