Considering they haven't added anything during those 4+ months since the initial v11.1 beta, I'm hoping v11.2 beta is near. Or v12 beta ;)
Hoping for a big (fee) 11.5 before the paid 12
I'd prefer no fee for 11.5 ;)

indeed: two things, that i encountered, windows 10;

1. it didn't want to install in an existing folder, so i deinstalled the previous version of 11. (you must by the way manually install the new update)
2. indeed, the workaround for using several VST2 directories, via one directory and shortcuts does not work anymore. so a new solution i must have...

the release notes by the way;

EDIT: using symlinks works;

(nice to type in the command processor... even faster than graphical for me... strangely... what the hell?)

Would be nice when 11.1 started up with the question "Rosetta y/n ?" on my M1 Macs.
The "get info dialog" thing is too annoying for toggling on/off. I will stick to Rosetta mode.

Thats not how the OS works so I'm not sure if Ableton can even do that. The Get Info dialog is Apple's preferred method of changing the binary type I don't think they expose that for apps to change on the fly.

nice update, hope after the M1 native version they can concentrate in other life quality improvements

A small (probably not so small in terms of development) thing that would improve Simpler significantly for beginners would be automatic pitch detection, like Logic's sampler.

A native remote app for automation, remote recording and such would also be awesome.

My guess is though that it's all ATMOS from here on out.

I hope they're working on this and then will tie that up with piano scale lock for harmonic editing like in Studio One, where a dedicated Chord Track on-the-fly transposes MIDI and Audio tracks to required key & scale :)

what exactly are those "left" key short cuts about? doesn't seem to do anything (new) for me?

what good is pressing left to get from a take lane to the main track, if I could just hit up?

Anyone know if Ableton Lite is M1 compatible?

Still on v10 on my Windows machine but wouldn't mind trying it on an M1 macbook air if possible.

I guess it will never happen, because of this Ableton instrument....
