Not sure what has changed @.93 but I'm liking it much more than the earlier versions.

a feature request:

when disabling the filter, make it so that it no longer uses any CPU.

i think you could increase resonance even a bit more.

Can somebody give us a primer on how to use these excellent plugins :help: :help: :help: ?!
1.What would be the starting settings point for vocals (gentle, smooth, jazz)
2.What would be the starting settings point for classical acoustic gtr (to gently tame those picks)
3.Bass
4.Drums
5.Tubedriver before tubemaximizer? Or the other way round?

I'm currently travelling with my laptop with really crappy headphones and my listening judgments are very poor so any ideas/advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

i'm not sure id be setting anything in stone using crappy headphones! wait till you get near some decent monitors.. anyway with that sort of music you are describing i'd use the tubedriver very sparingly. i have been getting good results putting it in front of the nebula free fx vst there is a preset there that is based on the preamp of an ssl desk input, that would be good for your vocal and guitar tracks maybe. you may have to do some track freezing tho' (if you can) they chew the cpu! Dont try the final mixing on those 'phones tho

I haven't tried it yet but this is the most ravishing GUI I have ever seen. Whooooooooooooo! :tu:

Thanks Nick for PMing me about an update, but...

1) the GUI is still not the digital one I kinda expected
2) the sound is completely different compared to v0.74 or earlier versions (there's even the "voltage" dial missing.

IMO it degraded to a harsh distorion now rather to the advertised "warm tube amplification". Not to mention that some of the dials are hard to read, and IMO the cutoff/resonance is totally useless (you could use anything in chain for that).

Started off great, turned into something completely different. The only thing I like though is the reduced CPU usage.

A pity, but can't be helped.

I think the Voltage dial from version 0.77 is a nice thing to have, as it provides a lot of variety to the sound. Any possibility to have it back? :)
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here. ;)
