Er, I did get the temporary license key and loaded that... and I just got the mail with that key as well! Carry on...

It is showing a weird white box behind my load screen showing a MuLab "initial user key" ... is that supposed to be there?

I did this with some drum loops I have and it creates a stuttering playback of the loop... it's pretty unusable? The loops aren't that far off from the current tempo either... Or drag-drop the sample loop onto the composer and choose "Sliced".

Sound like you didn't properly update from the M6.0.24 package which included the new splash...DHR53 wrote:It is showing a weird white box behind my load screen showing a MuLab "initial user key" ... is that supposed to be there?
New complete packages coming soon.

Feel free to email me such loop audio file. I'll check it.DHR53 wrote:I did this with some drum loops I have and it creates a stuttering playback of the loop... it's pretty unusable? I imported the first loop you mailed and it's playing fine here. Sometimes, depending on the audio data,it might be necessary to tweak the slice markers and update the sliced sequence. It's all described in detail on this doc page: http://www.mutools.com/info/docs/mulab/ ... mples.html

Well, apparently it's not going to slice anything too far out... Anything within 20 bpm is o.k. but beyond that is not good. Is there any way to not have it add another rack/track every time I want to add a different loop? ...really annoying to keep deleting tracks and racks.
I wish there was a way to add a MuSampla, load a loop, and slice/adjust the tempo? Seems like that would be way easier. My tempo is set to 115 but the loops at 160 or 130 are way off... If I open the sliced loop in the editor the slices are all over the place, i.e. not on the beats at all. Hmmmm... that should be better.

I have the same behaviour. Updated by copying the 2 files (the .exe and ID file) to my installation folder, overwriting the older files. Oh wait... I updated from version 6.0.21 I think.. That must be itmutools wrote:Sound like you didn't properly update from the M6.0.24 package which included the new splash...DHR53 wrote:It is showing a weird white box behind my load screen showing a MuLab "initial user key" ... is that supposed to be there?

Yes the M6.0.26 update can only be applied if you had M6.0.24 installed or up.
The new complete packages will be online soon.

Just saw that there are only two versions now, the UL and the free version. Good decision in my view.
Anyway, I was just playing around with some of those drum loops because of the previous posts, and noticed that I can't seem to change the volumes of the individual drum sounds when 3 or more are triggered at the same time. Happens for instance with drum loop 7 somewhere in the middle. I can select each "note", but the pencil seems to touch a non-selected volume column sometimes. Or maybe I am just doing something the wrong way
Also, when I pull the left browser border all the way to the left Mulab border, I can't grab it anymore in order to pull the left browser border back to the right again, i.e. to make it narrower. I know this is an unnecessary thing to do in the first place, just saying...

Indeed, M6 only comes in Free and UL (Ultimate/Unlimited) versions. Glad you think it's the right decision.fluffy_little_something wrote:Just saw that there are only two versions now, the UL and the free version. Good decision in my view.
Just double-checked that and i can't see anything wrong. Indeed if there are many notes on the same time, then select a note to prioritize it in the velocity bar section. Alternatively you can also change velocities thanks to the new M6 event property panel at the bottom left of the sequence editorAnyway, I was just playing around with some of those drum loops because of the previous posts, and noticed that I can't seem to change the volumes of the individual drum sounds when 3 or more are triggered at the same time. Double-checked that and also here i don't see a problem. Even if the browser width is zero and so it's left side separator is close to the window border, that separator can still be dragged to the left again so to open the browser again. Also, when I pull the left browser border all the way to the left Mulab border, I can't grab it anymore in order to pull the left browser border back to the right again, i.e. to make it narrower. Yesterday I updated to the newest version and it worked fine.
Today It asks for a user key and the temporary key doesn't
work.
Should I just wait for my new user key and Final version
or can somthing be done ?
Cheers

Hm, doesn't work here. I can select one of the three notes and the bar is also of the same color as the selected note, but when I try to touch it with the pencil in order to drag it up or down, I actually change the volume of another note that is not selected.
Yes, to the right, i.e. making the browser's width zero, works, but to the left, i.e. making the browser's width the same as Mulab's when Mulab is maximized, makes it impossible to make the browser smaller again. All I can grab in this case is the Mulab border.
Was experimenting around some more, allows for this cute screensaver mode

Ok i found what you encountered. It's about those 3 notes on 1.4.0000 right?fluffy_little_something wrote:Hm, doesn't work here. Well one of these notes is on 1.4.00025 in fact and i checked the code and there indeed is a little prob there in that case. Fixed in the next version. Thanks for discovering this special case.
Ok, i understand the case. Well the next version uses a maximum browser width, so to avoid such special cases.Yes, to the right, i.e. making the browser's width zero, works, but to the left, i.e. making the browser's width the same as Mulab's when Mulab is maximized, makes it impossible to make the browser smaller again. The new MuLab 6.0.27 update is available in http://www.mutools.com/mulab/forsythia/
If you have already installed M6.0.24 or up, you can simply update the .app/.exe and .ID files from the small zip files there.
Else install the complete package ie the bigger zip file for your system.
What's changed since M6.0.26:
* Event graph editor: Fixed a prob with selecting certain velocity beams.
* When adding racks while the music is playing could result in hanging notes. Fixed.
* Fixed a prob when dropping a MuClip on the sequence editor.
* + other small improvements.
Cheers!
