First off, I wanted to say BRAVO! I had little expectations of this instrument thanks to the hush-hush nature (thanks Melda!) but it does deserve some hype, so I'm a hype'n. I don't even know how to quite describe it. Kind of a hybrid additive/VA but that really doesn't do it justice. With what you can do with waveshaping to the basic analog style waveforms it almost starts feeling like a wavetable kind of synth, though it's not quite that. The sound quality is very good and it seems light on the CPU for what it's offering.
The OSCs sound very nice, clear and lively or crazy or as basic as you want and of course it does additive OSCS.
The filter selection is mind boggling. Is there another synth with this many filter types? The distortion on the filters is probably the best I've heard in a plug in bar none. There are two filters. I'm not sure if you can run them in parallel as well as the default which is series.
The LFO and modulation system is very extensive, but it's going to take some more time and probably a crack of the manual to get it all. It's very extensive and flexible. The downside is just trying to do a basic aftertouch assign is a bit byzantine, but I guess that's the price for the flexibility.
Envelopes are extensive and very good.
The UI is overall pretty good if you choose the futuristic skin, other skins seem ugly as hell. It's all scaleable. I wish it had more drag and drop style of mod assignments. A lot of things don't seem intuitive at all, but this is the type of synth you sit down and read the manual to learn.
The effects sound great, but that's another area that I'm going to have to hit the manual to grok. I had a hard time figuring out how to add them in an empty preset.
Anyway, just a mini-review of my first impression with an hour with this synth. I must admit the name is dumb, but this is a must buy for sure.
Btw. the new version has better velocity/note/aftertouch tracking in filters, simple as possible

And the name is, well, you saw the discussion...
