Love seeing this Space X stock go down every day.

Too bad that once congress approves $1.5 trillion for the defense (war) department, they will sign a data center deal with welfare queen Elon and bail him out.

Codeberg (an alternative platform to GitHub] is going to change their terms of use to prohibit 'vibe-coded projects'.

To us, it seems ridiculous to see projects with a single developer and virtually no users consuming as much or even more resources than some of the largest community projects on Codeberg, which operate frugal with CI/CD and storage resources. We do not believe it is reasonable for Codeberg to invest our precious donation money into hosting of large ghost projects.

This is about their business model though. It's also signaling at the moment. However, they will face the same detection problem that everyone else does. This will not go as people expect and will end up as tribal finger-pointing. For the solo dev, central git platforms don't really offer much.

I feel their pain, but, this is still an arbitrage moment as people use tools as they were intended from the past when the world was different to signal something that has less value going forward. They are correct, ghost projects provide little value. So, sunset projects with little to no activity, problem solved.
