I don't see it, and by the prices it doesn't look like it will be a mystery plugin. One of the mystery items must be G8 as that is the only item that retails for $69.

I narrowed down my choices to dyneq2, which I the only dynamic eq I have is the free nova at the moment and SPL TwinTube. Does anyone know how that compares to the uad version?

As far as I know they're identical. All the plugin alliance plugs are identical to their UAD counterparts. They are just native vs dsp enabled.

I was curious about that so I added 5 arbitrary things to my cart, but didn't see a discount. Does that only apply to their own plugins?

Does seem rather quiet this year, seem to remember a lot more deals around early November last year but apart from offers from people who always have stuff on sale (Izotope, Softube, AIR, Toontracks, etc) doesn't seem like anything much on offer so far.

Mind you, as there's not really much I particularly want or need at the moment, it's probably good that there's nothing out there that's making me think "well, at £150 I wasn't interested but now it's only £70, why not?"

I think over the last few weeks I've bought Modular, Thorn and got the Arcsyn 2 update so, alongside my other synths, that'll probably do for the moment (although there's definitely a few I'll consider if the price is right, no..no..no..no..show GAS restraint).

I've tended to be buying specific things rather than waiting for deals - so more into finding the best "regular" discounts I can eg I got zebra 2 from JRR for $167 yesterday vs the $250 it would have cost from u-he direct.

I have fallen into that trap many times. Unfortunately it tends to be expensive orchestral libraries that I have no clue how to use, and can't be resold.

You won't believe me, but I did. It sounds fantastic. If I didn't have TONS of this stuff, I would pounce on it. But after going through the sound list, and looking closer at the engine, I felt my pulses, guitars, strings, stings, braams, etc. were well covered. I have their Evolution series and it is great. But I also have Hybrid's stuff and a bunch of other items, and did not want to thin myself too much before BF.

So yea, I resisted.
