HI I saw the vid on akai fire. nice. I was wondering is it possible to do the following on this script?

1. I use XO drums which uses C1-F1 or something to trigger the 6 parts. Can this work with the step sequencer? (I know you mentioned it only works with Drum Machine) but what if there was a way to enable it?
2. Is there a way to add a mode to work with sampler slices or does that work well already?
3. Are there any issues with entering midi notes? I have a script for the Base 1 and it has some issues

Hey, thanks for all the effort you have put into drivenbymoss. Ive been using it with great success with an apc40, behringer bcf2000 (flexi). Today i bought an lauchpad pro mk3 and it seems to work great. But I have a general question:

Is there a way to add some scales? I rarely use the existing ones and it's really limiting. I need to be able to use scales like harmonic minor (1 W h W W h 3h) and phrygian dominant (1 h W W W h W). In the best of worlds one would be able to add custom scales as needed.

You can use the sequencer with any plugin but you won't get the channel editing. You can also put devices in a drum machine device, there are tutorials in this Bitwig forum but I do inot have the link ready, use search.

Not sure what you want to do. If you slice to a drum machine you can use that as usual. But the API does not provide any sample manipulation access, if that is what you are asking.

If you mean in general, no. But the pads of the Fire are not the best (forgot to mention that in the video) they are actually velocity sensitive but you can get about 4 different values out of it.

You already have many scales available. In the play view use the cursor left/right buttons to select different scales. The selected one is also stored with the project, check out the document settings which you can find in the right pane of Bitwig. Also see the DrivenByMoss manual.

Wow, now I feel dumb as a rock... Both scales are actually in there. I browsed the scales before writing, I have no idea how i missed them.

Hey Jürgen, do you know why my Novation X seems to reset itself with the psychedelic flashing pad display every few minutes or so? It's as if someone was momentarily disconnecting and then reconnecting the USB cable. I'm using the latest DrivenByMoss v10 along with Bitwig Studio 3.2.2 under macOS 10.14.6 and with a Scarlett 2i2 interface.
