Currently listening to a VHF scanner.

A fun conversation between two two sheriffs regarding a man seen in the middle of the road at night next to some roadkill…

Officer 1: "Did they say he was trying to cut it off?"
Officer 2: "Yes."
Officer 1: "What was he going to do with it, attach it to his antenna?"
Officer 2: "No, the RP said the man claimed he was going to make a hat."
Officer 1: "Oh, I see."

Nah - about 12 years ago I bought the CD as "that pre-Primus Claypool/LaLonde thingy". I thought it was OKish but not quite my cup of tea so I gave it away to someone who really liked it. Just now I discovered it's actually some cult-like treasure, so I leeched it off the internets to give it a try again but I'd still say it's OKish but not quite my cup of tea

I got the tape a few years ago and it was "perma-borrowed" shortly after from someone I'm no longer in contact with. I nearly forgot about it until Sickle brought them up last year or so, and was shocked to see the prices some people were paying for it on eBay. Turns out Collusion had it on vinyl, and one thing led to another… :hihi:
Certainly is my cup of tea. Lyrics are cheesy as all f**k, but it's almost given for the genre. I'd love to see it re-released (and re-mastered, for that matter…).

Don't count on it..Rumor had it way back that the bulk of those tracks were actually written in the 70's by Biederman..

I think they formed in 78 or so, so I'm not suprised. From what I heard, Marc Biederman pretty much dropped off the face of the earth.
There were rumors about Century Media releasing some old Blind Illusion stuff a while back, but nothing seemed to come of that.

/also pissed that Plotkin refuses to re-release any of his Old Lady Drivers stuff…
//would also like to see some of the Mr. Bungle demos cleaned up from something that wasn't a "tape-of-a-tape-of-a-tape", but Patton signed away the rights to BW early on, and they have no interest in it.
