There is a reference to that on the Sound on Sound Black Friday list:epiphaneia wrote:You wouldn´t happen to have more specific insider information on that?mgw38 wrote:Imho the most attractive deal this year. I am pretty sure I read somewhere what that was, but I can't find that anymore. Maybe somebody else knows? Otherwise we'll have to wait, I guess.

Thanks! At least I won´t need to hold back any money for a bundle with <cough cough> top titles like "Thunder Springs" or "Stadium Instruments" (unless they throw something actually useful into the bundle)mgw38 wrote:There is a reference to that on the Sound on Sound Black Friday list:epiphaneia wrote:You wouldn´t happen to have more specific insider information on that?mgw38 wrote:Imho the most attractive deal this year. Such a shame that Project Sam and String Audio haven´t had any BF deals...

I think they will allow you to upgrade CG Infinity to the CG Bundle. That's what I remember reading. But I could be completely wrong and my memory of reading this could be the result of a BF induced hallucination.epiphaneia wrote:Thanks! Shame I already own that one, so a better bundle-upgrade-price than usual doesn´t help me (gee, I spend more money on these things than I earn with them...mgw38 wrote:I think they will allow you to upgrade CG Infinity to the CG Bundle. I can confirm that you can crossgrade to the CG Bundle with a big rebate. That’s what I finally decided to do and I’m so glad I did!mgw38 wrote:I think they will allow you to upgrade CG Infinity to the CG Bundle. That's what I remember reading. There’s a ton of quality stuff. Just CG Infinity has so much to play with. With the CG Bundle, there’s a lot more ambiances on top of that.
If you’re on the fence about CG Infinity, go ahead, you won’t regret it.

anyone here using bidule? seen it referenced a few times in various places but not sure how useful it would be to have in the tool-kit. Seems worth a punt at £38 though.pekadan wrote:Plogue 50% Black Friday discounts:

I read that as kind of Pro Jrr post as he blame the provider not the shop.Caine123 wrote:Jrr is king. Calm down!HM wrote:What a pain with JRR site lately

I picked it up on this sale. There was a discussion some time back on this because I was looking for a VST host that is itself a VST and can do feedback. I would prefer something that allows for the building of a useful U/I, bidule is not that, at least not in the sense that I mean. However, it is probably the most stable tool that is also modular and accomplishes those goals.OneOfManyPauls wrote:anyone here using bidule? seen it referenced a few times in various places but not sure how useful it would be to have in the tool-kit. So, if you want to build hybrid effects or instruments that incorporate your existing effects or instruments and can be freely routed in complex ways, combined with other audio and midi manipulation tools, AND, can be then loaded as a plugin in your host, cross platform, then Bidule is basically the only choice.
