Let me run this by you guys before I buy Nomad Factory Magma. JRR Shop had a sale in July and I'm not sure how a discount I missed. What I'm wondering is, they offer a 10% of Forum and 15% off Group (as advertised on the bottom of their signature here at KVR). What does that mean and how do you get those discounts? I'm compared them with Dontcrack and with the discount JRR would be cheaper.

Bought Studio One Producer. Bargain price.
I already have Cubase 7, but the workflow of Studio One is just so much smoother.

Those codes don't work all the time. You have to test them under "Discount Codes" in JRR's Shopping Cart. I just tried and they didn't reduce the price. But JRR is still a couple of $ cheaper than Don't Crack.

Log into your JRRSHOP account (make one if you don't have one). add any product to your cart and on the cart page there is a add coupon entry field - type in FORUM and apply coupon button. the page will refresh and show the discount right above your total.

GROUP hasn't been working for me for a week, dunno why. some products are special discounts and the coupon will not discount your price at all. example the SoundToy bundle for $399 is a special discounted price sale item and coupons will not lower the price.

Nomad Factory Magma is often sole on sale at $99. I have seen at least 4 different sales in 2 years offering the $99 deal.

JRRSHOP Nomad Factory is on sale for $107.00 USD. the coupons do not apply to this sale.

Which of their libs would you guys recommend for Dimension, Rapture and/or Kontakt?
I have many of the DSF libraries, if I am to choose, I would say that their Rapture stuff is best value for money.
Thanks Numanoid! And now the obvious follow up question : Any particular favourite among the Rapture libs?

I think they are all good

Film score is excellent for the ambient/soundscape type of music

The three others work well for general electronic music needs.

I bought Artist, when I saw the price as low as $41,45 in my basket.

There are 4 included instruments, that's like 10 bucks per instrument, I couldn't say no to such a deal

But anybody know how long it takes AudioDeluxe to deliver licence? I ordered last evening CET, and hoped to find the license in my account this morning, but it is still listed as pending?

Yes well worth the price even as a "once in a while" host

They have always been pretty quick with me, normally within 24 hours as far as I remember. Also just so you know, I believe those instruments are tied to S1.

Yeah, I know, Studio One Artist version hasn't got VST or Rewire support either, but in a way that is a good thing, less is more, to create something with this setup, one bass synth, one sample library player, plus two simple sample players if foresee mostly for drums, the limits are very clearly defined, there are not "million" of instruments options.

Yes limitation can be a good way to force out the creativity sometimes.

So far feels like this is one of the bargains of the year :tu:

Presence comes with 420+ preset patches, and several tracks can be easily stacked to build some HUGE sounds

Mojito is very simple, but got an easy to grasp interface, dialing in either dubstep basses, or skewed BOC leads is a breeze

The Impact drum sampler comes with close to 40 sets.

All in all feels like a very comptent groovebox in a box, pun intended :D

Only dud I've found so far is that the midi learning isn't quite intuitive.

Price balloons to £41.78 for UK buyers (including postage), still a good saving but nowhere near as good a deal.

It's the whole collection (grand, upright and Mark One), isn't it?

I suppose this is a serial number in a box again. If someone in the US is willing to buy one of those for me, please PM me. I'll pay in advance.
