Sounds From Mars is selling their entire catalog for $39 right now:
https://samplesfrommars.com/products/al ... -from-mars
Over $1000 worth of libraries for $40. Ridiculous deal - they make some awesome stuff, especially vintage synth / drum libraries.

I did not need to think more than 10 seconds to get this deal.
Many thanks for pointing it out pixie.army.

Do we know if the wave zips are any different to the sampler specific zips?pixie.army wrote:Sounds From Mars is selling their entire catalog for $39 right now:

The sample files themselves are the same, but the sampler downloads often come with ready-made instruments, kits, racks, etc.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Do we know if the wave zips are any different to the sampler specific zips?

But once you connected to a VPN and deleted the tracking cooking (or opened up a private browsing session) you can simply access the promotion through the Steinberg main page. And you might need to get creative with the address during the purchase process (have not tried that yet). They allow you to use Paypal, so you should be able to complete the purchase process. If you VPN into Europe, they will add VAT, but the promotion is also available in other parts of the world. When I accessed it through Japan yesterday, it even gave me US$ prices.dzilizzi wrote:I have Cubase and I don't get the emails and can't find anything on their website about it. Or are we just excluded entirely from their Xmas calendar promotion?

I notice the last email sale I got from them was a Black Friday one. Maybe that's all we get?
So that's a "no" then.
Really makes me wonder what is up with their promotions department. They earn a good chunk of change from our little berg. You'd think they'd want to engage us. Too bad.

Sample From Mars is an amazing deal. But be warned, don't hit the name on the download link, it's not a sign off, it refreshes the page and you lose one of your 4 download times FOR ALL OF THE FILES. I spent hours downloading, unzipping, and installing just the ableton packs.
Another note, if you don't close the download page, erase your history, or turn off your computer the download page will stay there forever. I had it up for 3 days. I have a decent 60gb internet connect, and the rates of download were fine. Finally getting to actually enjoy the massive collection, well worth the time.

Rumor has it if you log into your Steinberg account, you can access the advent calendar. YMMV.BERFAB wrote:

Thanks, didn't want to miss out on any samples by not downloading them.telecharge wrote:The sample files themselves are the same, but the sampler downloads often come with ready-made instruments, kits, racks, etc.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Do we know if the wave zips are any different to the sampler specific zips?
I'm often like to compose directly with the samples rather than loading into a sampler.
