This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

I had a very good download speed from germany so it took me only a few hours.Aloysius wrote:Have fun downloading. It took me about a week just to download the formats I wanted and I still haven't fully sorted out all of the folders yet. Great deal though.pixie.army wrote:Sounds from Mars is selling their entire catalogue - $1200 worth of a products - for $39!

Had to triple check that price, but it's accurate. $39 for almost 40 drum & synth libraries. Formats include Kontakt, Maschine, MPC, EXS, Ableton, Battery and Reason.
No brainer indeed.
EDIT: Wrong thread sorry..

Was able to log into the Steinberg sale from Aus. Thanks for the link above @MFXxx, I wouldn't have noticed the sale otherwise. More than happy to upgrade my Wavelab LE8 for 22us

Really makes me wonder what is up with their promotions department. They earn a good chunk of change from our little berg. You'd think they'd want to engage us. Too bad.

Well, I would appreciate if that chat thread would pop up in my emails like a normally subscribed thread. It doesn’t. Time and again it decides to stay mute and hide. Not cricket.

Almost cheaper than I would pay for my upgrade at PA, even with my voucher.Amusesmile wrote:We've started our December Sale for Unfiltered Audio. The bargain hunter in me screams buy this now!!!!! The owner of way too much stuff that I don't use says "no more stuff you don't need" Bargain hunter is starting to win the fight.pixie.army wrote:Sounds From Mars is selling their entire catalog for $39 right now:

Over $1000 worth of libraries for $40. Ridiculous deal - they make some awesome stuff, especially vintage synth / drum libraries.

Don't let it win this fight. SFM are the among the best in the biz, particularly their Roland drum samples like the 808 and 909. The attention to detail is evident everywhere. Even if you don't *need* them right now, you might later on, and then you'll be kicking yourself.dzilizzi wrote:The bargain hunter in me screams buy this now!!!!! Yeah. I turned it down and I sticking to that. The problem is that samples don't get used near as much as you think that they will, especially drum and synth samples. I've already downloaded multiple gigabytes of samples that were free almost free from multiple vendors this season, none of which I've yet to use.dzilizzi wrote:The bargain hunter in me screams buy this now!!!!! Quite the opposite for me. I jumped on it. I use drum samples a lot and having all these great drum machine sounds recorded with care at such a low price is heavenly. You really have to be into classic drum machine sounds (which I am). I was already familiar with some of the Samples from Mars products.ghettosynth wrote:Yeah. The synth products (drum too) also come with Kontakt patches, amongst other formats. I didn’t get this for the synth sounds but I will check them out eventually. Lots of Battery kits too and I tend to use Battery a lot these days. I refrained myself from buying a lot during the sales but this was too hard to resist. Super stoked.
Play it by ear
