18th track from my upcoming double CD "2020"

Just felt like doing a simple jam. No great songwriting here. Just some fun.

Rock Solid

She's built like a boat
I don't mean to gloat
She's got all the curves
Doesn't get on my nerves
Yeah she's every man's dream
She's my coffee and cream
She most certainly is not squalid
She's my gal and she's rock solid

She's good for a mile
She's good for a yard
She's good for a night
She's good to get hard
Yeah she's every man's dream
She's my coffee and cream
She most certainly is not squalid
She's my gal and she's rock solid

Instrumental Break

She's my fantasy girl
She's always ready for more
She's a killer alright
She's a keeper for sure
Yeah she's every man's dream
She's my coffee and cream
She most certainly is not squalid
She's my gal and she's rock solid

The piano riff sounds really close to the melody organ from In A Gadda da Vida. It sounds good though. I think the guitar sounds really great too!
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

Now THAT'S a song I haven't heard in ages.

Thanks for the listen and the feedback.

Thanks for the on topic comment. Appreciate it. I am curious though what you meant by "should tell you something." Are you referring to the way I did the song or the genre I picked?

If you could elaborate, I'd appreciate it.

19th track from my upcoming double CD "2020"

Every once in a while I do something like this. Track was 100% improvised from start to finish, including lyrics. These usually turn out pretty bad but this one is actually listenable, IMO of course.

Dirty Mouth

I love your dirty mouth
I love the things you say
I love your dirty mouth
I love it every day

I love the way you lick me
I love the way it feels
I love the way you lick me
The way it is so real

I love your dirty mouth
I love your slimy tongue
I love your dirty mouth
I wish that I was young

I love the way you woo me
With the words you say
I love the way you woo me
I love you everyday

That reminds me of some Icelandic alt pop groups called GRÓA and GDRN which in turn are influenced by Björk.

LMAO. Sorry, I have no idea who any of them are. But if that's what they sound like, I have to check them out.

I consistently like your vocal sound. There's something soothing about it. Additionally there is this feeling of mystery. I'm reminded of Stan Ridgway on The Big Heat. Very cool.

Well, I don't know who Stan Ridgway is (I'll have to check him out) but thank you. Which song do I sound like him? Or is it all of them?

Post

You don't sound like him but I get this sense of mystery that reminds me of this song:

Sorry. I'll have to go check them all out. Doing that now.

Okay, I listened to Bjork's...

It's Oh So Quiet
Army Of Me
Human Behavior
Venus As A Boy

I stopped there because I don't even hear a hint of me in her music. So I have no idea what people are hearing. Don't get me wrong. She's good and very different. But I am in no way in that class either in uniqueness or quality.
