Sound Replacer is limited to 3 samples, based on what I just read. This SPL thing has multiple sample slots. He set up 8 in the video I watched and there was room for more. I guess if it works well, you can switch out ones that don't sound as good. I think it will end up being one of those things that sounds good to me but it too much trouble to deal with. Which sounds funny because I end up cutting and pasting audio instead. Back to the old days when we edited tape. LOL! But it is easy for me.

My guess is that the special-specials that span two days (like bx_digital at the moment) won't be in the final batch at the end of the month but the regular advent offers will.

So BX Boom and DrumXchanger will be in the final sale but bx ditigal V3 won't?

Yes, what I had in mind, In addition what the DrumXChanger is meant to use, you can use it also in a more creative way: because you can import your own sounds to it, you can make your original percussive sounds to trigger completely different sounds than just drums. If you blend your original sound and the triggered sound, adjust the transients, sustain, Eq, dynamics of both the original and triggered, and mix those, the DrumXChanger may function as a fx as much as an enhancer.
This all is a big IF so far, because I have no experience of it, yet, but will get some.

Was reading about the SPl drum replacer plugin on Gearslutz and it apparently also comes with the SPl transient designer as a separate plugin.

Since I could'nt get Sonokinetic Ostinato Brass for free even though there was 100 left according to the countdown I wrote an email and attached screenshot showing my checkout and the countdown. here is the reply I got:

I know the Spl DrumXChanger, which discussed in here, but that something else, if not, why not call and identify as it is.
In DrumXChanger transient and sustain shaper is integrated to the plugin, no separate transient shapers..
