XILS StiX - New drum machine coming?

Really like the sound of this, though i missed the sale in the end.
Next time i will be poised.
One thing i was wondering though - do you think it would ever be a possibility that this could be released as a 'module' version?
That would be awesome for people who still like to use the DAW to sequence, but prefer using synthesis to samples.
That would be instant buy for me.

Each of the modules can be triggered from your keyboard, you don't have to use the sequencer if you don't wish.

Yeah i get that (thats how i demo'd it)
But it would be amazing to have separate modules on separate tracks in the DAW. Other drum plugs have done this (UVI Drum designer, or the sample based one from wave alchemy)
It just means you can use exactly what you want, where you want.

No plan for that atm. I sometimes use several midi tracks in my main daw (Cubase) to control StiX. Reason for this is that the midi Cc# automation is channellised -so you can automate up to a thousands parameters in StiX in real time-, so it's more clear -for me- when automation is splitted on several -midi- tracks.

But you could as well use one track for the BD, one for the Snare etc without even using automation, all controlling the Same StiX unit. Or have sereral StiX instances. I have another -hopefully good and interesting- design for a single drum module. But it's something very different than a single StiX channel.

OOh that sounds interesting. Coming any time soon?

I wish I could tell you But the true answer is : Maybe never. It's design, logic and functions, and a new -simple- approach atm. Hopefully I'll have a bit more time near the end of this year.
