We're more than a month out from release and you have this much animus about it? Jesus.

If the feature set that has been advertised for version 2 isn't enough for you to consider upgrading, don't upgrade. If you believe that the business model is too predatory or that Bitwig themselves are being dodgy, don't give them any more money and shut the f**k up already.

Screaming about being cheated, or writing post after post saying "I'm not going to pay" is completely unhelpful for everyone. That's Bitwig, other people talking, and even you.

I dislike that bugfixes aren't included, and I've written my post earlier in the thread about it, but from a personal standpoint 2.0 deals with every quibble I have with Bitwig atm and gives me more flexibility ergo I'm happy to give them my money for those features. If over the course of 12 months, the program is buggy or they fail to deliver enough value to justify another purchase, I'll vote with my wallet and use something else.

I think given all the hype about the open modular system and network collaboration that was coming in V2, going to V2 without it (and trying to quietly make it seem like it was never promised) is a bit underhand.

If it couldn't be done in 2 but is still coming soon, then say that (or better still make this release 1.5) and say when it can be done.

If it is something that will now never happen (as future updates will now just be a bunch of new modules that 'you' are making with the modular system...) then you really need to tell people, as some people were really hanging on for that...

I think that the price is a bit high compared to Cubase, and Reason. 129 would be more acceptable. I could live with this model if they include only one point:

Compatibility updates to OS upgrades are included X>3 years back from the last upgrade or back to VX.x

Then I can be shure to use this model and skip one or two upgrades and still use my software without having fear because MS, Apple or Linux doing strange things with there OS. Its the model of Propellerhead

They never said it would be in v2.0.0 anyway, just that it would be within the 2.0 lifecycle.

I don't give a f... either way, all I ever wanted seems to be in 2.0, the rest is just a bonus.

Though I'm looking forward to 2017 - the devs will have to deliver in a big way, features and fixes, to convince their customers to upgrade next year.

So I'm pretty sure online collab and open modular system both aren't too far off.

Well dude i have right to exprice myself as you have right to complain about me? Doesnt help what in doing sure but i have all right to express my disopointment. Also not everybody disagree with me! Most actually agree so i think i have some points said. Also i didnt accept this new modell or for now wont. Many things promised many things never happend as promised. Changed payplans etc. You know what make yourself feel at home with this first week of complains it will keep comming from angry users not just me.

I wont pay you know but thr thing is i spent money on current version believing they would keep what they said and paying for upgrades only. This subscription baised updateplan is expensive and i planed for using biwtig for realtime collab! Ive spent money and as a disopointed customer i express that here. I had two accounts and takaii which was previous ronny and i changed my username! I said to a troll that i had three acounts to make myself sound bigger while talking to him with the only account i used. Then "takaii" I didnt get banned for making noice but because a troll made it sound like a bad thing having multple accounts and that kvr blasted at me saying its against the rules. Trust me ive read the rules but the kvr policy dont care about stuff not being in the rules. I know more people that created more accounts because they didnt think they could change username! I never actually behaved this bad! Also ive helped ton off bitwig users in past probably more than you back then when i had my main account, helpet tips and tricks and gve back to community and made presets that was awesome dor community! Btw the trolled that trolled me into getting banned is now banned he for it! He got at me when i wrote in sell and buy that selling image-line account wont make the license be entiled theirs anyway which is true. You dont buy a license but explicit rights for the software. And imageline has a policy against selling accounts and licenses. But this i did only at one movement then this dude came! And ofc this is something for you to remember because you care so much about being real. U know what i will actually calm down not because off u but because people cant deal with someone expressing over and over how wrong they think this is! Its called taking a standpoint!
