you can grab “rr” which is a simple device i made that allows you to play roar’s feedback note mode via midi notes. drop the device next to a Roar device and select your midi input from the dropdown menu. "rr" will always control the last roar device in the chain.

This plugin allows you to perform the duplicate action multiple times. Simply enter a number in the dialog box and the CMD+D/CTRL+D action will be executed the specified number of times.

Orthogonal Flip/Turn
Flip / Turn are two handy devices that elevate your Ableton Live performances when using sequencers like Flow (or any other ones) in your sets.

These devices automatically mute any input when no clips are active in the Session View, granting you greater control, precision, and seamless integration of your sequencer patterns with your live set — without any unwanted sounds or timing issues.

I also found this device that works in a similar fashion. Markov chain generative sequencer. https://nouserid0.gumroad.com/l/pinball2

It's still not a MIDI channel, but it can select notes from a group(block), so it's better than nothing

Bought it last night and spend an hour with it. There is a bit of a learning curve not because the device is complicated but you brain needs to adapt into a new way working with musical information. I think when I spend more time with this it's going to be an important part of my creative process.

I’ve been wondering about this device, but unfortunately there aren’t many sound examples to be found. How do you use it, and how flexible is it? Seems a bit of an one trick pony to me, but I’m not quite sure.

definitely a bit one trick pony, but depending on the material it can sound really cool. the demos are not that good that they made. mostly gives things a kind of blown out/f*ed up/seismic "physical" sound that i've def not heard before in a plugin/m4l thing, so for me the 10$ were absolutely worth it.

Thanks, yeah it’s not expensive so I’ll probably bite. Do you use it on bass only or is it suitable to f**k up other source material too?

absolutely works on other material too, but it will make it mono and bring out the lows depending on your settings. i find it really cool though, im not a huge fan of lo fi effects, but this is a fresh one to me

Ok thanks, I’m sold :P The physical aspect seems really interesting, I guess I’ll just have to try it.

Kitik Mangl3r

Image

Mangl3er is Simple, Intuitive, and most importantly, Powerful.
The most important, and powerful feature? Band Slitting. Split your track into three bands: Low, Medium, High. Each band has it's own distortion processing that you can customize in infinite ways.
Don't like the order of your processing? Change it on the fly and create something completely new! The distortion modules are drag and drop, allowing you to reorder your distortion algorithm to your hearts content. Oversample up to 8x to avoid any nasty artifacts. Use the analyzer to get a quick reference on what your track is doing and see what you are doing to it. Each band can be bypassed, or muted, allowing you to very quickly change the sound, or revert back to original for easy A/B testing.

Mangl3r is now free to download (as are all Kitik devices)
