I think this should do:
R-click any target: Mod Source -> Note -> Note On (Discrete)
There is such a thing, you can find it in Global.

What's the difference between the old note on random and the (discrete) random?

The old one send the same random number to all destinations.
The discrete send different value per note to each destination.

Sorry for my earlier answer, I thought discrete was random value per voice. I made a quick test and it looks like it's the same value for each voice, just the different destinations get different value per note.

But still, if you're not using unison you basically have random per voice and each destination gets different value, so you can make some wild stuff with this.

You can achieve it byt using an LFO.
Set it to S&H, Retrig. Set the speed to hz and then turn the speed down to 0. You'll get random values every key press.

You could also scale that by a second sample and hold or a note index as the aux modulation.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

I find myself coming back to Serum 2 even after the honeymoon period. There's something about it that makes it easy to get good sounds out of it. The DSP is clearly high quality.

Will Serum 2 be able to compare with Kontakt 7 and 8 as for advanced third-party emulations of real instruments?

I’m curious about this too because from what I understand Kontakt is very much like the multisample oscillator in Serum so I wonder what advantage Kontakt has, if any, at this point now that Serum 2 can do multisample too.

Maybe the UI is more customisable when creating instrument emulations?

No as it doesn't have a sample/rund robin editor for multisamples, it doesn't support crossfade looping, there is no scripting and the maximum size of samples embedded inside a patch is 64 MB. Using sfz files in Serum 2 is a nice add-on but nothing more.

Don´t know if it is mentioned b4, but I am having hanging notes every time I play something with Serum 2.
In Cubase 14 and other DAWs.
May be I am doing something wrong..

I don't think this is what I'm talking about. Doesn't seem to be per voice random.

This is not what I'm talking about.

Not random per voice.

Unless I'm reading this wrong (which is very possible) this doesn't seem to be per-voice random.
