No I haven't. That might complicate the UI. Which parameter do you have in mind for this offset?

All of them. Sounds that move and change in the stereo field in any shape or form are a thing.

Thinking about the GUI, it could be done via the mod matrix.
Advantage of that would be less clutter for the GUI and you could have all your "stereo manipulation" things neatly grouped in the mod matrix.
And to be able to group things in the mod matrix would be neat too. Like folders.
But that sounds like a lot of work with little ROI to me.
On the other hand workflow is a great thing for people who actually program a synth me thinks. :hihi:

Well, I wish it was as easy as just adding a new "offset" parameter to the mod matrix, but it's not :)

What you are suggesting would require an entire rewrite of the synth engine, which I don't have time for right now.

But I'll keep it in mind :)

Yeah, no worries!
Thanx for the kind answer!

Here's what I mean by "stereo signal path": Anything can be connected to anything

Look at the example below:

Oscillator 3 modulating phase of oscillator 2
modulator 1 connected to output
Shaper 1 in between modulator 2 and oscillator 1

Is there still a point in using modulators? Are they more efficient than basic oscillators?

Yes, for 2 things they are still useful:

1. Modulators have DC offset added -> useful in audio rate pitch modulation + AM/RM
2. Modulators can self modulate phase at audio rate (this is necessary in many DX7 algorithms)

After a long while we have a new update for SynthMaster 3 and SynthMaster 3 Player: v3.4.9 Rev 17271 (I am not increasing the version number yet, as v3.5.1 will be kind of a major update hopefuly at the end of summer)

rev 17271.jpg

New Features:
1. Added fade in/fade out of audio during preset loads
2 .Added Load/Save Global Midi CC Mapping

Bug Fixes:

1. When user searches presets by bank name, exact string match should be used
2. CC1 and CC74 can not be Midi Learned
3. Note Off messages don't work correctly for multichannel (MPE) MIDI input
4. When global parameter MIDI Mapping is added/removed, all plugin instances should be notified
5. SynthMaster 3/Player might crash when loading a preset
6. When a preset is saved, metadata is not updated correctly
7. When a file is being moved, the destination file should not be deleted if source doesn't exist
8. When loading MIDI Programs from MidiPrograms.xml file, presets should be searched by name as well
9. LFO AR envelope might generate out of bounds values which might cause a crash

As always, please check for updates inside the plugin window :)

Congratulations!!! What are the chances now of getting Linux support?
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

I can not promise anything regarding Linux until the following are released:

SynthMaster 3.5 Win/Mac
SynthMaster 3.5 iOS
SynthMaster 4.0 Win/Mac/iOS

Right now, we are in a very bad situation financially, so I can't risk anything. If I knew that Linux would bring us a substantial amount of customers I would have done it, but I am not hopeful about that so it is still a low priority for us until we break even.
