If you like this kind of plugins it's a bargain! Demo is available so if you have doubts try it out.
How does it compare to something like Tantra?
Interesting question. Garbage vs Tantra
I did a Google search and hope to read up on it.

Would Fault be similar?

If you don’t believe me, here’s the message I got from Sade Christner from PA Support:

« Looking into your account I see you've spent $241.60 with us and in order to move up a voucher bracket, your total will need to exceed $300.

They should make that visible in the indivudal user accounts: Would be worthwhile for both sides. :hihi:
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Strange. My records show that I have around €400 spend with them ... maybe transfer fees don't count in this ?!?

“Voucher bracket“

Love that term. I‘d like to see a voucher reform that benefits the plugin-wealthy.

Ryan, Don´t get me wrong, I don´t suspect your words at all. What I ment, is that I believe that the Plugin Alliance has rationalized the explanation, in reality their system of evaluating and sending vouchers is more or less a mess. I´m basing my opinion to the feedback of different people in these sites, and the feedbac I´ve got directly from the Plugin Alliance.

The whole voucher thing has been a huge experiment for PA and they have clearly adjusted the rules over the last year (eg: no two vouchers of the same value can now be used in one month). Has it been a successful experiment? I reckon it probably has, just from the discussions in this thread alone. No doubt there are people using these codes to get free stuff, but there are also a lot of people spending a little more (even if only $4).

My feeling is that PA are probably in the process of re-assessing the how the voucher evaluation works, hence the different responses and feedback on this forum. It may be the case that making the $35 voucher tier more accessible leads to customers spending more money. If they can get enough of the $4 customers to spend $14 that will surely be a big win.

IMO PA is pretty shrewd, the voucher system is smart and solves a lot of problems while avoiding the pitfalls typically associated with deeply duscounting a product line. A million years ahead of Waves and others. No doubt it will need to be fine tuned over time. Others should take note tbh.

I just watched a video review of the Soundiron Insane Bundle currently on sale. Anyone got it? Mars looks like an amazing choir for the price.

shonky answered this for me here a little while back.

Remember the filters being pretty good, distortion and bit-crushing fairly nondescript, never got much use out of the convolution, ring and amplitude modulation if you use those much, and there's an old school radio compressor and EQ if you like that sort of thing.

Hard pushed to think of a point where something else wouldn't suffice.

Mars alone is worth it.

Ah, that explains it then. I had already had V4 for a year at that point. However, V5 was never sold at that price IIRC. LOL@your insane deal which was better than my, already pretty good, deal!

I have one or two of their ios apps, but I don't think that they're registered with any Arturia account.
I got V-collection classics for $69 on december 2015 and updated to V Collection Update (V-4 synths with new interfaces) for $99 on june 2016.

This! I would probably buy $49 plug-ins more often if I got a $35 voucher. Now I mostly buy $29 ones unless something looks really good at $49. I rarely go higher because I need more plug-ins like I need another hole in my head.

I got it but haven't played with it much yet. Their stuff is good, and if you picked up the Venus bundle the last time, you pretty much have the full Olympus choir which is supposed to be one of the better ones.

I just ordered Thesys for $9.99 from Musician's Friend. An hour after order, I called to ask about why it says it will ship and ETA of what I presumed to be an E-mailed Serial for Sugar Bytes. They said that in their end it looks like it will be an actual shipment... I wonder if someone screwed up.
