Musician´s Friend is not very friendly - or maybe the software is such a new thing for this company, that they have to ship the serial numbers in the box, for having at least something, which remains hardware...

Anyone know what's up with PA? Sale still ion and no voucher E-mail yet... I'm not worried about the voucher as much as I am wondering what the new monthly sales are.

I just ordered it but made up an address. Usually works....

Guess I'm gonna need to call them.

Probably old inventory that they’re only allowed to sell as a physical item.

It’s a serial number, printed onto a card inside a DVD box, sealed in cellophane. So as far as product is concerned it is a physical item.

They, as well as other brick and mortar stores, have been doing this with various software titles for a while. Some of these you cannot even order online in the US, so you actually need to visit the store (remember the insane UVI Vintage Vault sale 1-2 years ago?). Most likely a loss leader strategy to get you into the door.

The MPX requires iLok dongle right? That's one thing keeping from getting it. The lite version they gave away with some HW doesn't require it but it's very limited.

Will there ever be any substantial rebate on Synthogy Ivory II? something like half the price, which is whats I'm willing to pay judging by the vast amount of piano libraries I have, the Yamaha Montage and soon a Nord Stage 3.
