And how is HS not a lesson in this regard? I read this and decided to test what you are saying.... didn't load the specific bass you had mentioned, but went thru a few j basses and acoustic basses on halion 5 vst st3, and to be fair and honest you are right..... The basses are much better (the ones I played anyway) on ST3 than HS2/H5. Loaded up a Keyswitching Bass patch (Wirefinger). The control that you have over each keyswitch is nice (Amp/Filter/etc.), you can really customize your sound... But then I loaded up an ST3 bass patch against it... The ST3 sounded more real and full... It is just a better sound.
