You are too late, you missed the One Synth Challenge from last month. You could have participated, but then we would have 62 entries... Maybe 61 was sufficient...; - )

And... I'm not receiving notifications about 1.0.4 despite I have the update check enabled in settings...

Same thing happened here on two PC's.

Same, using Vital in Fl Studio. But good to there is a new update available!

Yeah, with all due respect.. I don't think KVR is your ideal target audience.

Plus, no notifications on the website, nor the discord (which personally it is a pointless platform to discuss business at least). No email newsletter, and even not sure how to check the change log.

I'm only going to put out notifications for some builds because I'm doing some quick releases in the next month (1.0.5 is coming soon) and I don't want to ping everyone for each one. When I do notify everyone there will be a full list of changes.

Thanks Matt :) and it's good to see you active here, really appreciate your efforts.

Funny,
Im working on some thing like this now. Its amazing how many synths cant accomplish the sound because the modulations cant be changed across the keyboard.
(begging pre-forgiveness for not reading back through the thread if I'm duping):

This would be similar to the mapping generators in some (all?) of u-he's synths, correct? I think it started with ACE, and Bazille has 2 (which of course can be applied to a variety of targets).

They have different modes and sources available. A typical application would be using a step mode (up to 128) with a key-track source and various target parameters for a round-robin affect.

The first time I saw it in ACE I had no idea how to use it; watched a video and now it's hard to live without in other synths.
Yep! The mod mappers from Zebra, Bazille and ACE are essentially the same thing as the remappers in Vital :)

Exactly. I became familiar with that type thing in Fathom and I really miss it in other synths. I want control down to an individual key/note not just a pan control.

Even though Vital has tons of sound shaping capabilities, I'm wondering how to achieve a classic phase distortion. Does anyone know? Thank you.

You can modulate the Osc Phase by a keytracked audio-rate LFO

Post

But that would be just a phase modulation, isn't it?
And btw, with that method the unison function becomes unusable. It will sound "pulsating"
