AT3 will work in a future VFX version as an extra feature needs to be added to allow it to be authorised. IK and VFX are working together on this so it wont be a problem, it will just take time. You can use AT2 until the extra feature is added.

It was more than a year ago! January 2010!VFXAU wrote:That sound wierd to me, I will check this out.
In regards to the CPU as I have said before, several times. it is 2-3 times the power (depends on the plugins but actual performance increase in some plugins is 5 times as much) it can handle upto 2 gig of ram. We used it at the NAMM show and I feel that with current production schedule would have a limited amount available in March, (maybe 500 units) we will offer these to current users on a first come first serve basis at around $180.
We will have videos about the upgrade in the next 2 weeks.
Have you anything to say, VFXAU?

Sure,
We changed focus to get the software right first and then expand the hardware side.
We made the hardware boards, but did not go into mass manufacturing as yet until software is done.

Hello everybody.
After reading this (neverending) topic I need a help.
I want to run FM7 on V machine and I know that SMProAudio Staff is not allowed by NI to release their VSTi vfxinfo files until they give them permission. So I tried to do it by myself but I don't manage in making a working wizardfile. I've read that somebody of you managed in.
I asked for help from SMProAudio staff and they kindly and quikly answered they didn't tried FM7 but FM8. Well I prefer the good old FM7. Could you help me please?
Thanks a lot.
Forgive my bad english

Any news from messe? cpu upgrade? v-rack? classic bundle?
All of this was annonced a long time ago, it always reads "coming soon". For me it begins to look as if the v-machine has been abandoned - empty promises over empty promises all the time

No news.
Their order of work is: get VFX software out of beta, then CPU upgrade, then V-Rack and V-Pedal.
Which means 5 more years seeing their tempo of action.

probably 5 years for each...
on the other hand they seem to have time to develop all kinds of new audio interfaces, monitoring systems, etc. - but not a single word about v-machine on sonicstate:
http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2011/04/ ... and-q-dac/
I was so much hoping for the cpu upgrade, which they announced to be ready in february 2010; in january 2010 they said:
"We will have videos about the upgrade in the next 2 weeks"
60 weeks over now and not even a word about it on messe; why do they ALWAYS speak out wrong promises? better be honest and say it will never happen; then I can sell it and at least hope that maybe the musebox will finally be out one day - but as it seems they took the same road - only announcements so far, year after year

The V-Rack looked pretty good, but for me it was only a purchase if it was an established company.

they announced v-rack at messe 2009 and since then they have it the products on their homepage; now we had messe 2011 and no word about it; forget v-rack - it's another vapourware too keep people hot
classic bundle with minimonsta, vsm and some other cool plugs: announced at messe 2010; since then in the products on the homepage; messe 2011: not a word about it
they can tell anything and annouce what they want: I don't believe a word anymore; it's all a big empty bla bla

I was one of the early adopters and send mine back after 1 month. I'm glad I did! It could have been a superb product. Without the CPU upgrade the Vmachine is useless. VFX Software still remains beta after 2 years. When was the Vmachine released? 2 years ago?
Give me one company who is doing worse!
Sm Pro claims cakewalk rapture is Vmachine compatible but you cannot load it's "presets"!!! It crashes!!!!
(The always honest company Sm pro mentions this in it's readme file...)
Sorry, SM Pro. Be honest to your customers and tell them the CPU upgrade is never going to happen.
