no, not stupid, you are right, that one shows one curve with different boosts. I've simply missed a curve plot with all the different settings (10a-b-c-d).Breame wrote:No no, there is a plot in there for NastyHF! ...but it looks to me like this just shows 4 examples of differing boost AMOUNTS, not curves. Or am I being stupid here?bootsie wrote:I thought I had plots in the manual on that but somehow I've missed that (Will do that then in an update someday).
Those are four different curves for the HF shelf. 10a is the broadest and goes down to around 1kHz, 10b starts higher and so on.

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but is there any way of getting all the plugs on one page for download? This thread is bloody massive.

I'd like to see a really transparent Nasty Limiter that would take the TLS Maximizer's crown!

Ok I'll check this out more! I was purely thinking of something very simple but top notch at preserving transients. Something comparable to PSP Xenon!shogger wrote:For a limiter by bootsie we've got the one in the new Rescue already. It's a really good one me thinks! You could see it as a limiter with some M/S add ons ...![]()

i just used nastyvsd on the stereo bus of a bluesey rock type track, it made everything sound a bit more vintage sounding/nicely sitting together. thanks again bootsie.

by that, i mean i had 2 guitars doin the voodoo blues type thing and the vsd got them to sit together nicely, without it they were a bit uneven.
