I think you are rather troll because it is so immoral that you admire chinese copy products for good plagiarism.

Bitwig are German not chinese, not entirely sure what your aim is here ?

Seriously these comparisons are nothing more than trolling at best, you are talking about images, nothing more, wait until you have tried it ;)
No they're not. From the vid and screenshots it does seem VERY influenced in design by Live. Which may or may not be a bad thing, I couldn't care less either way. But to deny a similarity between bitwig studio (BS!) and Live seems a bit absurd to me.

Deja Vu. Who cares. I see no similarity between Live and this. This whole discussion is just like the one had when the first Reaper came out, and it was a direct ripoff of Acid. Down to the GUI.
Look where it is now.
Look where Acid is now.
How can you even say things without even trying the software first?

Shall we compare it to Reaper because it has a timeline a docker at the bottom and a single track paradigm, of course we don't because the coders didn't work for Cockos.

Let them actually release the product before jumping to conclusions, if it is a clone of Live then bitch all you want.

Your view is that the contry matters whether plagiarism or not. But the reality doesn't. I'm sorry to say this but your way of thinking is shallow.

I hope they have a good freeze or even bounce in place implementation :)
That's crucial to me (says the Cubase user :hihi:).

You are just very assuming aren't you, my view is to simply let them release the product so you can try it and see if it is what you "ASSUME" it is, thanks for even more name calling, it's much appreciated ;)

I have Ableton Live....
You're correct on both counts.
Total incompetant noob...
Bad eyes.
(P.S. I don't like Ableton and have used it a total of 10 times)
Noob.

I'm not one who's concerned about the "rip off" or anything, but come on. Have you used Live? If you had you'd see that most details are the same, the clip matrix and scenes, the mixer layout down to the send placements, return tracks, the scrolling devices at the bottom, the effects design etc. The layout and element placement and sizes are essentially exactly the same. That's not to say that anything is the same under the hood. I would hope not all these years later with a fresh code base. But stylistically it is indeed just about the same. I think that's a great thing. Those migrating from Live will instantly feel at home. I see almost no learning curve for this software so I'm eager to try it.

Re-read my post. I'm not bitching. I'm not saying it's a clone. I'm saying that BS looks heavily influenced by Live. Which it does. Anyone who denies that has eyes that work differently to mine.

As for how it handles in use, clearly time will tell.

Another interesting thing will be how the per note automation is implemented. Maybe they use the note expression VST3.5 thingy?
Otherwise it would only work with the internal instruments (At least for polyphonic material).
