Just saw this offer... tempting. Buy a crappy NanoKey and upgrade for $99 to get all the Korg VSTi's? ...incredible.
But stop. Is there again a VAT issue for EU customers like I've experienced some times ago when looking at online offers in $$$ on the net... and got a nice VAT addon surprise at the end of the ordering process?
Anyone from EU bought this Korg stuff from the Korg user net shop and can tell me about VAT surprises?

I agree with EvilDragon the SQ80L and Wavestation are two completely different instruments. If you like the Wavesequencing aspect of the Wavestation I suggest trying the demo of Wusikstation with it's ability to load user samples.emotica wrote:I do think they both are actually quite alike?
I still own an ESQ-1, little brother of the SQ80 and although in it's day it was an awesome instrument every time I fire it up now I'm reminded of how horrible it sounds compared to modern softsynths.............

I bought the M1 from the webshop some days ago. And I am located in Germany. No additional VAT. It was plain $49 which was about 37 Euros, paid via Paypal. A really great deal.TiUser wrote:But stop. I agree, Xenos is a great programmerbreakmixer wrote:Xenos ain't that Mickey Mouse, when I first came across him I gave him a list of presets to do taken from old Rave records, he completely 100% nailed some of them with Subboombass, others were close...I was actually testing him because I (wrongly)believed Softsynths could NOT sound like(as good as) hardware back then and he proved me wrong, even with Subboombass which gets no love around here...Drumtarded wrote:I think any time there's a promo on any thing we can count on you being there with your mickey mouse collection of presets for sale shortly thereafterXenos wrote:Just picked up the MonoPoly. Y'all can count on seeing a full soundbank release for THIS.
At this stage it's a given

Yeah I was looking for them on that webpage but didn't see them.Kriminal wrote:try the demo versionsExamigan wrote:Since I have WUsikstation, would it be worthwhile to get the M1 or Wavestation? I am tempted, as I love vintage sounding stuff and have heard so much about those 2.
Where do I get those?

I guess since I already have Wusik, the M1 would be better for me.Teksonik wrote:If you like the Wavesequencing aspect of the Wavestation I suggest trying the demo of Wusikstation with it's ability to load user samples.emotica wrote:I do think they both are actually quite alike?
Now if I can just find the demo versions...

I'm not so sure this is correct. You can still buy the Digital Edition at JRRShop and I took the phrase on the page to mean if you registered it AFTER August 2010, you ge the free collection upgrade...like a grace period to take care of remaining stock.mcnoone wrote:No.ATS wrote:Am I reading this right? If I buy Digital Collection and register it now I get the whole package for a free upgrade?
There is no more digital collection.
They changed all the collections.
If you did buy the digital collection before August 2010, until the change was made. You qualify for the free collection upgrade
The quote on the website says:
"Owners who register "KORG Legacy Collection - DIGITAL EDITION" since August 1st 2010 can upgrade to "KORG Legacy Collection - Special Bundle" for free. "
That's how I read it.

^^^ Yes, buy the Digital Edition, register it, and then upgrade to the "Special Bundle" (it's an application they check, after which they send you the additional serial #s).
I just did this -- it worked BEAUTIFULLY (and saved me a pretty penny on the whole set!

We're saying you have to buy this:

In order to qualify.
It should save you $50 for the whole collection
