Yes, the ATC... I just find it tedious to program. I'd use it more if there was a decent editor.

I agree that a TB-303 is something different than Diva with a sequencer and a 303-ish filter. That won't make the combo in Diva less divine.

We'll see.

How do you envisage cramming eight lots of envelope, filter and oscillator controls (which you'd needed to replicate each of the eight individual SEMs) into Diva? :?

Would a generic editor do the job - Sound Diver, or similar?

Sure. One with customisable UI... must work on Mac though, I don't think I like the ones for iPad well enough...

Do you really think THAT was what made the EVS different? I don't think so. Besides, if that' would be necessary, we could always pile eight instances of monophonic patches (boring, but doable).

Different to a single SEM, yes.

Where is the 'all of the above' button? :)

Very simple: Modules of OB-X, SEM, CS-80 are doable for Diva, but concepts of Matrix-12, Obie 8-voice, CS-80 are not.

The Memorymoon CS-80 is good but x86 only.

Why don't you do a strait Matrix-12 emulation, assuming you have the hardware to model.

Because we're not a Xerox. Some developers may find joy in creating exact replica of old synths, but we simply don't. We love to solve riddles and we love to come up with our own elegant designs. Therefore, as long as we can, we'll avoid copying someone elses ideas.
