Hehehe, it isn't our fault when they sleep, is it? - It's not like we're doing anything that prevents them from having great ideas. In fact, I have high hopes for Monark, and we'll enjoy the challenge if it's more Mini than Diva :)

(I'm answering this a bit on the serious side because some people have recently perceived us/me at fault of the criticism some other companies have received, not just from people who like our stuff - to the extent that we're receiving abusive emails and worse. We do however not control the tone and content of anybody's opinion, and we don't "pay" KVR or anyone for letting us "get through" with whatever they think we do. We're also not going around throwing sticks into anyone's spokes.)

hehehe, sorry for that - Nevertheless, you can still use the Bazille alpha for free till the end of the year and of course, Presswerk will possibly need a few months until it's final

You're doing amazing work, Urs. Every day I fire up Zebra I like it more than the day before. It's far and away the most economical (with respect to CPU) and vertatile synth I have in my arsenal, and I enjoy working with it.

are there any more details of pressweks around apart from the name like pics?

I think Urs and the team will probably need to sleep for a week following Musikmesse.
Hopefully forum members will allow them time to recover before swamping them with questions and requests.

Best wishes for the event.

:)
I'm tired of being insane. I'm going outsane for some fresh air.

I've K8 and even if the update is affordable and tests say Monark is as good as Diva, I choosed Diva. NI does a great job but small details made the difference like UI size, the fact that I can speak to you and Uhe's team, demos and betas available, less marketing and more updates and bug fixes.

Shame on them, healthy competition is better for every one.

You shouldn't be sorry for that, it's nothing compared to what we used to spend on hardware stuff few years ago and introduction prices are very reasonably priced. Plus, more money means more great products to come

I feel I may be rather poor rather soon.

What i miss in a vst compressor is the ability to get really extreme settings and get those sucky/pumpy sounds, can Presswerk be pushed into these regions?

On a less serious note (not that I am biased)

I would think so... it can do "inverse compression" where the compressed audio has a lower level than the uncompressed audio.

While Sascha loves to make things "safe", I'm very sure it'll be able to do extreme stuff.

True, yet the mechanism that's behind the machinery of hatred is rather complex and something that evolved over time.

Regardless, I shall post a preliminary Bazilel screenshot shortly...

I love this short piece, it's just the kind of electronic music that makes me want to turn those synth knobs. :) Thanks for posting!
