My first Alchemy 2-pad, a little impro, adding Macro automation in a second pass. I like the filters and the granular engine still works well for paddy stuff now that we have multiple grain streams which can be offset.
EDIT:
and to mention the new waveshaper in the FX section, very versatile and it sounds good.

Cheers, Seb - I'm picking out my raisins from the cake and I am discovering some things too, I've had my rant so now it's time to look ahead.Neon Breath wrote:Cool stuff Simon, looks like the new Applechemy is not that bad afterall!

If I was using Logic, I would definitely jump on it and start digging into it. Don’t think this ‘update’ will make me switch DAW and buy Logic just for it, but still it sounds and looks pretty cool.
Have fun with it guys!

To quote Ms. Tina Turner: What's love got to do with it?
I would say that Windows 95 sort of was Windows 4 but not really as they ditched the numbering they had used.
There were 486 processors, then we got pentium, maybe that was like 586 processors, but not really as they ditched the numbering they had used
There was Alchemy 1.5, then Logic users got Applchemy, so is that really Alchemy 2, maybe, but not really as they have ditched the numbering they had used.

Hence the 'yay!". It will be great to see what you come up with. Personally I am finding lots to like about the new version even if the spectral editor is still a pain to use.Sampleconstruct wrote:Cheers, Seb - I'm picking out my raisins from the cake and I am discovering some things too, I've had my rant so now it's time to look ahead.Neon Breath wrote:Cool stuff Simon, looks like the new Applechemy is not that bad afterall!
