Finally got around to signing up to one of those services that pumps your tracks out to Spotify, Tidal etc. The kicker was it's free, though they take a small percentage of earnings (Ha! There won't be any, the fools!)
It was actually simple to use it to even post up cover versions which is something I'd previously thought would be too expensive a thing for a hobbyist.

Check them out, pretty good though they did take quite a while to approve tracks - the covers only went up on Tidal today and I submitted the tracks 8 days ago, still waiting on a couple of originals to surface.

As part of doing that I did a bit more tidying up and mixing of my last actual original song and made a new instrumental thing too. Bandcamp link to that below...

Finished mastering (and am listening to the tracks now, to make sure I didn't miss anything and I really want to keep all the tracks).

Still haven't picked a name. I need to do that and make some cover art.

been mostly working with video, working out various techniques and effects in resolve.
recording bits via obs and vs, then editing together in resolve.

mostly using the desktop stuff for sound as i can reach it from the computer desk.

looking to do a video involving live action (synth, not stunts im not an idiot) and other bits, add a bit of interest.

Finished the album. I decided to ditch the weakest track (though it's not too bad), did the crossfades and re-splitting.
I even made the album art (compositing some AI-created images). Made my test MP3s for listening in the car, on my Bluetooth speaker in the bedroom, and at the office.

Dropped off a sold module at the post office.

And then I recorded what's probably going to be the first track of the autumn album... busy morning I plan to be as lazy as possible for the rest of the day.

I really want to piss about with the modular, but the weather’s made it pretty much impossible to play anything that kicks out more heat so I ended up playing acoustic guitar for about three hours and now my left hand is a claw.

I did a very bad thing.....
I spent the day torturing small electronic components and distorting otherwise nice sounds.
I mangled speeches by respected politicians (something you cant do in some countries).
I cant say that I feel bad, and I would do it again.....

I stared an arrangement view for a bit and went outside because no way the nice weather can last for three days. I'm not banking on it

Messed around with a handful of Full Bucket’s synths, specifically the string machine ones.
Programmed some sounds in the Novation Peak.
Did some mixing.
Added some horns to a roots reggae track I’m working on.
On Friday I made some mods on my Drumbrute and I like it much better now. Adjustments to the kick 1 sweep (able to reduce sweep more now, still prefer kick 2 though), the impact sound for kick 1, and softened the high hats so they aren’t so distorted.

Now that everyone,including the cat,is asleep I can finally dig in to that folder of samples I labelled 'zestruments' somewhere around 4 years ago and haven't been to since.

A little bit of U-Bass practice, and replaced the stock aluminum panel on my Planar 2 with the black PCB one from Dusty Clouds. And then decided I need more Befaco Bananuts and ordered them...

If I survive, I hope to track a new tune.
