New Mix

Strange Creatures in the Dessert

I did a very bad thing.....
I spent the day torturing small electronic components and distorting otherwise nice sounds.
I mangled speeches by respected politicians (something you cant do in some countries).
I cant say that I feel bad, and I would do it again..... :troll:

Note: I updated this, I had some disturbing ideas I had to implement.

Here is the "old" original mix:

Lovely balance of sounds. Surprisingly soft and delicate for something that was marketed as being bad. Aren't all such things though?

Enjoyed that!

I remixed this.
While I was sleeping ideas kept popping into my mind so when I woke I remixed it.

The first thread includes the new and old mix.....
Curios to see what people prefer.

I think the new mix sounds really good, especially considering the fact that there are so many mangled, dirty sounds in it. Tbh i am not a big fan of the bass - i like the sound of it but not the melody. I like the parts when it is repeating one tone or just a broken phrase. For my personal taste the phrases of the bass could be more "broken" overall (would fit imo better to the rest). But overall the whole track is a really nice and instersting listen :tu:
it is better to have a track with some mistakes than a track without any soul

I love the wicked bass, reminds me of the Birthday Party. Sounds like a fun day of experimenting.
Why would you feel bad... I wouldn't.
Music with progressive intent.
