Maybe that's just me but I don't feel like it needs delay reverb. Shaperbox really excells at doing heavily modulated stuff. Reverbs and delays are things you just slap on a track or send most of the time.wltchris101 wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 1:42 pmI agree. sounds good! Upgraded my V2 to V3 earlier this week this feels like an extra gift on top. I just wanted to say that I own a lot of VSTs and Shaperbox is by far the on I use the most. It really is a swiss army knife.

Perhaps you're right. But in the spirit of experimentation, where, as you say, Shaperbox excels, surely it couldn't hurt to have those options available? There are different use cases. Sometimes I might like to try more than just adding reverb and delay elsewhere. But of course there is always that option.HOTF wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 2:16 pmMaybe that's just me but I don't feel like it needs delay reverb. An idiot on Set Theory:

A better module than delay and reverb etc. would be a Pitch Shifter/Harmonizer module.
Imagine playing a synth, flute or guitar solo: Here and there in that solo some parts are harmonized, in a synchronized and rhythmic way, to which ever scale you choose!
This harmonizer would be great for vocals too. One could emphasize certain things in melodic loops or just spice up drum/percussion parts with such a module.
Bottom line: ANY type of audio/sound would be great fun to mess around with if Shaperbox also included a Pitch Shifter/Harmonizer module…
(which I'd gladly pay extra for in a upgrade)

Yeah I could definitely use that also. But I still think the delay/reverb omission is odd.Yadrichik_Chaya wrote: Wed Apr 05, 2023 9:01 pm A better module than delay and reverb etc. would be a Pitch Shifter/Harmonizer module.![]()

Anyone tried the new Noise pitch LFO, it does not seem to have automation?

To automate the Pitch, simply automate the Envelope's Shift slider (which is an automatable parameter) to offset the LFO. This works even with the Envelope's Amount at 0%.MADMANJ wrote: Thu Apr 06, 2023 9:31 pm Anyone tried the new Noise pitch LFO, it does not seem to have automation?
Allowing automation of pitch as regular VST/AU/AAX parameters could unleash chaos, because of the way Shaper parameters work with LFO drawing.

Great update. Just wondering when we will see Curve updated? Or is the plan to stick an oscillator module into Shaperbox & give us an almighty modular monster?Jakob / Cableguys wrote: Fri Apr 07, 2023 8:02 amTo automate the Pitch, simply automate the Envelope's Shift slider (which is an automatable parameter) to offset the LFO. This thread does have me thinking that Shaperbox 4 with a Delay shaper, Reverb shaper, and [intelligent] Harmonizer shaper would be an incredible paid update.
