PanShaper takes stereo control to a new level. With a drawable panning LFO and envelope follower on every band, you can design evolving, fluid pan patterns and make precise stereo edits in seconds. Blend regular panning with psychoacoustic Haas panning and make your mixes fill the speakers like never before.
Breathe life into a static mix and make individual elements stand out. Stereoise mono drums, bring basslines to life, make percussion dance, make synths groove, and so much more. The possibilities are wider than you can imagine.
PanShaper runs in Cableguys' ShaperBox 3 effects plugin. Use it on its own, or combine it with Volume, Time, Drive, Noise, Liquid, Crush, Filter and Width Shapers for elaborate, multilayered effects.

Y'all should make the next version of PanShaper be able to do 3D like panning effects in stereo. Instead of a just a straight line... You've got a horizontal and vertical circles. Within that, you can move a X or dot in that 3d space where you want to place the sound at. I understand it'll take some time to figure out how much volume to change vs the panning to create the sudo-3d-sound-effects, but it would be worth it.
Maybe be able to draw a path within the circle and say it takes 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1 bar, 2 bars, etc... of time to get from the start to the finish of that path, then you have them choose if they want to start from the beginning or run back to the beginning from the end, etc.
Or you could create a new Shaperbox and call it 3DShaper.
How's about that?
All you need to do is figure it the math for how much panning to volume to create the 3d space.
For now, I wonder if I can have VolumeShaper follow PanShaper in such a way that PanShaper would modulate VolumeShaper based on it's location?
