Since valley is a programmer and I am not, Ill rest my case but,...
...I would be more then happy to see this feature implmented in T2 in the same way as platinumears suggested. Once you click on a drumloop properties are shown in lower part of the screen. Then you simply slice the loop (based on beat detection engine) and your loop becomes group of single hits but still acting like one entity (because slicing is undestructive).
If you had chance to see how it is implmented in Cubase thats more then enough for me. The sliced loop is shown in track window as one loop but divided in subparts with vertical lines dividing them showing that you are dealing with a sliced loop.
That functionality together with a superior ergonomy ala Jules (cos Cubase is not as intuitive as T)would be super feature. At least for me.
cheers

One more thing...
If Jules/mackie will start looking for appropriate beat (transient) detection engine , I would suggest Phatmatic Pro (bitshift)
. It sounds the best and has the lowest error rate.

That's something I've been requesting for at least a year, together a more, er, 'acidic' (?) way of sizing/pitching clips - these two features would make T2 a complete solution for me.haydxn wrote:i would certainly like a beatslicing system worked into T!
here's hoping!
