So I was curious to know more about the voice map modulation in ZebraHZ and was able to locate this thread, but it didn't seem to ever yield an answer. I also haven't been able to find anything in the manual about it. =/

ZebraHZ was an internal development with much of an experimental status back then, but luckily with a high degree of stability. The VoiceMap mod source must have been a remnant of Diva code in ZebraHZ, like, the entry is there but the actual per-voice processing is not.vvilms wrote:Would any one care to fill me in?

Oh I see. -nod- I'm guessing that wouldn't be a feasibility then?Urs wrote:ZebraHZ was an internal development with much of an experimental status back then, but luckily with a high degree of stability. Not for Z2, at least.

I was about to make that distinction, but as I'd recalled that it was initially stated (as a selling point) that the diva filters might not come in zebra 3, I figured I'd forgo it.EvilDragon wrote:Not for Z2, at least.

We have not decided on Voice Stacking as feature for Zebra 3. I think it might not be necessary.
Also... the voice map is technically almost identical to ModMappers in iterate mode. It's not really missing in Zebra

What is this iterate magic of which you speak. ><;Urs wrote:We have not decided on Voice Stacking as feature for Zebra 3. I think it might not be necessary.

(I'd much prefer a hidden feature to an instance of autocorrect switching "increment" to "iterate".)

Yes I'm familiar with that, hence the inclusion of other names, just to awaken those who've grown used to the Hitler name. In general the argument is for freedom + responsibility, rather than rigidness.Urs wrote:HunterKiller wrote:Not being able to mention other synths or go off topic for a bit, reminds of me of Hitler, Stalin, Mao and North Korea currently.omiroad wrote:Serum, Sylenth1, Omnisphere? ...MaSSive?Nutrinoland wrote:What by the way is S Synths and O synths ?Wikipedia wrote:[...]there is a tradition in many newsgroups and other Internet discussion forums that once such a comparison is made, the thread is finished and whoever mentioned Hitler has automatically lost whatever debate was in progress.

There is no "in general" for ad hitlerum (and the inclusion of evenly as bad people doesn't make it that). While Hitler has never expressed his wish to keep forum posts on topic, even if he had, it would not mean that anyone who does were anything like him.HunterKiller wrote:Yes I'm familiar with that, hence the inclusion of other names, just to awaken those who've grown used to the Hitler name. So, is it too soon to ask for any audio snippets of new Z3 technology? (desperately trying to make this a thread about zebra 3 again)
Feel free to call me Brian.

Slightly too soon... even though I'm about to hit "save" for some of the reverb ideas I have stumbled uponbmrzycki wrote:So, is it too soon to ask for any audio snippets of new Z3 technology? (desperately trying to make this a thread about zebra 3 again)
