XmasTube was beta tested by way over 400 people.

5 people had problems, 3 with Ableton, 2 with Nuendo.

For Ableton a possible soulution came up
but it should be Abletons job to fix it, not mine,
since it only happend in that program.

Only 2 Nuendo users reported problems,
out of how many ?
My guess is that it is a problem on the 2 users system...

If I am scared to release it ?
No way !
But I wonder why AT2 delayed again...
I dont want to show anybody my cards yet.
Its that simple.

Midiworks, I think a lot of people have been impolite towards you.
I will say it again; I do believe this ampsim will see the light of day, in fact, we've peeked thru the curtains already (the XMas amp).

Rene I see your point, and from one angle waiting would be good and then snag up the disappointed with AT2 crowd. From another angle some might be poisoned against soft sims after AT2 and still others might not be willing to buy two sims, so it might be good to beat them to the punch.

If you have a "secret weapon" (so to speak) I can see advantages and dis-advantages there as well. I surely wouldn't want to be in your shoes right now...you are walking on a fence.

However, I really think you need to stop changing reasons and perhaps as hard as it is...shut off the auto inform on this thread and forget all about this thread entirely...let us talk ourselves into the ground...because flat out...it does sound like you keep making and changing excuses...there are people that have a hard time with too many excuses...you inclination to repeat the same answer imo was a good idea...

Is your new ampsim being formally beta tested?

This was a kind of "the" beta test,
the new engine and extras change little
of the over-all structure of the amp.

So I am confident that it will work on over 99%
of all systems.

Anyway, people should always try the demo version
to make sure that everything is running well.

So, enough said.

FWIW both of the big amp sim threads have opened my mind quite a bit...in fact that's why I bought what I did so I can re-amp if the spirit moves me...a year ago I wouldn't even be thinking about it, now I will be trying demo...and then...who knows

I had a quiet word to Rene to tell him to stop responding to the deluge of depressed morons that seem to live in KVR ... and just get on with it. Since then, his posts have been nice and infrequent

ps. I am using no dongles, etc for my plug either. I hope this starts a new trend
