... and I acquired Sweepmachine (small, cheap and hard to resist) and when I arrived at my UVI account, I noticed
Falcon is now 1.05.
Falcons are known to be fast. I guess that is why they baptised this synth like this.
In short: Sweep Machine is an absolute winner. From Thomas Köner,s Daikan-like deep subsonic to Many of Pierre Henry's early sounds. And it works flawlessly in Falcon. As expected.

Holy crap. I just downloaded 1.04. I think their updates are perhaps coming a bit too fast...ErikH wrote:... and I acquired Sweepmachine (small, cheap and hard to resist) and when I arrived at my UVI account, I noticed

There was a major bug in 1.04, so 1.05 was inevitable.zerocrossing wrote:Holy crap. I just downloaded 1.04. I think their updates are perhaps coming a bit too fast...ErikH wrote:... and I acquired Sweepmachine (small, cheap and hard to resist) and when I arrived at my UVI account, I noticed

Is there an easy way to make phase drift in the Analog Stack osc? Only way I can think of would be to set a bunch of LFOs to each of the phase knobs.
Thanks!

Or use the random modulator either bipolar or unipolar random.jacobh wrote:Is there an easy way to make phase drift in the Analog Stack osc? Only way I can think of would be to set a bunch of LFOs to each of the phase knobs.

Any word of a fix coming for the high CPU useage in Studio One 3, when Falcon's interface is open? I've barely used it since it was released, and even after the most recent patches it doesn't seem as though anything has been done to sort the problem. With the UI open it's still pretty much unusable.

I'd venture that's more of a S1 issue than anything else. Doesn't seem to be the case here in Reaper...

A colleague is using Studio one and is not experiencing any issue.SolarRainUK wrote:Any word of a fix coming for the high CPU useage in Studio One 3, when Falcon's interface is open? We had a user who had similar issue in another host and it ended being an application which calibrated automatically his color balance screen (f.lux). Do you run a similar app ?
Thanks !

No, I don't run anything like that. My system is used exlusively for music, always has done since it was built, and has been optimised for this purpose. Disappointed to realise I'm probably the only person with this specific problem, it means finding out what's causing the issue is going to be mostly down to my own investigations.otristan wrote:A colleague is using Studio one and is not experiencing any issue.SolarRainUK wrote:Any word of a fix coming for the high CPU useage in Studio One 3, when Falcon's interface is open? It's still the case, that only certain UI pages in Falcon are causing the massive CPU spikes. And fit to screen actually improves things a great deal. Anyway, I sent all the details and my specs to support, but I guess I wont hold my breath for a solution.

The only place I see the Random modulator available is under the "External" heading, and when I select it there the same random value is supplied for all of the phase knobs in the Analog Stack that are modulated with it.Sampleconstruct wrote:Or use the random modulator either bipolar or unipolar random.jacobh wrote:Is there an easy way to make phase drift in the Analog Stack osc? Is this a bug? Shouldn't all the random values be unique?
If it's as intended, and the Random modulator is supposed to supply the same value to all knobs that use it, I think it would be helpful to have a Random modulator available on the Internal Keygroup level as well, so you could have multiple of them supplying unique values.
