One very hard decision for me too is whether to get a Kontrol keyboard, or Omnisphere 2.5. If a template exists for your fave synth, then you'll have (potentially) more knobs and sliders to play with and you've already got the muscle memory to control them.

I would go for the keyboard. There's a huge new coming wave of devs releasing updates to make their products compatible with NKS.

Omnisphere will always be around. :)

Yeah, go with the keys. And get Omni 2.5 to go with your next Moog.

I don't think some of you have seen Eric's demonstration of the new features. If you've got say a a DSI Prophet X, all of the knobs & sliders on it will control Omniphere, essentially emulating the Prophet X, and the gui will be re-arranged to match. It's somewhat similar to Rolands plug-out synth, but more open-ended & more advanced. They won't have templates for every existing synth yet, on its release, but the support will grow over time. You can tell how excited & proud Eric is with it in the demonstration videos.

Just using it as an example. I've been a member of KVR since 2002. You don't think I have a keyboard already?

Are you not subscribed to the newsletter? I received a voucher for the first time this year.

PA changed their voucher policy (mentioned in May email newsletter)? You have to spend a minimum of $50 in the last 12 months to get one.

The last $25 voucher I got was in March.

Was looking at the 20th anniversary sale at the JRR shop - some great deals. Though about getting LuSH 101, but I realized I don't use the synths I have now. And I have a lot of them.

Anyway, Happy Anniversay UncleE!

Yeah, happy 20, Uncle.
