Nice skin to Jax.
Let us know when yours is ready Majken. Then I might try my hand at programming it.

64 patches for OATMEAL!!
http://tamw.atari-users.net/TC_Oatmeal_1.zip
I will send to PA and to Ben here as well...but for now, they are on my Atari site. Please let me know what you think. Basically, I used the randomizer ( at times) and then edited the Oatmeal out of them until I was satisfied. Lots of Pads, arps , leads and other starangeness. Also some virus like leads..I like'em!
This synth has stopped me from even considering that new virus TI. NO KIDDING!!
Tim
OK...just so it does not get lost in the pil'in posts. I mailed ben and Alex them too.
Would love some feedback on this bank, although its not hip hop stuff..but those that know me..they can be spacey! but some B&B leads too. One that I am well pleased with is Intrepid Lead. has a Lamb lies down on broadway kind of feel ( early genesis) Also the Star Dust Trail pad...what a nice sound!

Yeah, that's why I referred to it as a "selector" rather than a "browser"...Fuzzpilz wrote:Not really, there are just "previous patch" and "next patch" buttons - it's kind of half-hearted, I just sort of assumed most hosts wouldn't be silly about patch selection. Apparently FL Studio can't deal with several different patches (e.g. all the empty slots called "Init" in the preset bank) having the same name, though - it just shows them as one, in the demo at least (although it displays the names of the existing patches properly here); but I'm not sure what the crashing is about, as I can't reproduce it so far. Any hints about the specific situation?Barf wrote:There is a native patch selector?! I couldnt find it before, I'll try again
Anyways, from my experience, it's basically when you right-click on Fruity Wrapper's previous/next buttons to access the list of presets... if you right-click immediately after loading the synth, you'll notice that it only lists "init" once... but if you click Fruity Wrapper's "next patch" a couple of times, it may or may not show the entire list of presets... and if you select a preset this way, you have a 50/50 chance of the program "quitting unexpectedly"... (also you may notice a fairly long string of random-characters/gibberish after one or more presests proper names... I'll try to get some screen-captures of this stuff if possible...)

Exactly. Phil's OK, but to me it's a different band after Peter left.

I agreetconrardy wrote:But I think it totally sounds different then synth1..so you really can't compare 'em. Oatmeal sounds more digital because of the user/Fm waveforms you can put in there, so you can get different textures then Synth1.
I don't know..but to my ears, this sounds like a virus..am I crazy? The reason being is that I was just at Guitar center checking out the virus TI. Then when I came home, saw this synth, tried it, and was getting the same kind of sounds. so..am I crazy to think this way?
