Oh, great, another shitty Flash site that loads code into the browser instead of downloading the linked file...
Kind regards.

I use a Mac and Safari, Examigan.
On a .html site that hasn't been properly configured for cross-platform use, sometimes when you click a link to download a file, that file's code will open into a new browser page. This can usually be solved by either Option-clicking the link or Control-clicking and choosing "Download Linked File." But you can also get the file by simply saving the web page and changing its extension.
As it happens, the Sylenth1 updates page is configured in this way. Clicking on a new preset opens its code into the browser window rather than downloading it, so I simply do the Control-click routine. No big deal.
However, once a file's been embedded in a Flash site, none of this works at all. So all such websites offering file downloads are essentially inaccessible to Mac/Safari users. Thanks to the use of the proprietary protocol Flash.
Kind regards.

I wonder if they would mind if Lennard posts it on his site, like if one of us downloaded it, and then sent it over to him he could add it.
Or maybe someone could add it to the KVR preset section?

The main sound is a guitar riff but the lead/bass sound you mention is probably the korg m1 organ sound found also in the jv series synths/mc909 etc and i have this sound in my sylenth soundbank..also the organ has been well thinned out with e.qhitbwoi wrote:as usual, i'm looking for a recreation of a housesound

thank you rob,
I also thought it could be the famous organ sound, but i don't come close enough using the sylenthpatch. Maybe it's layered with another bass sound?
I probably need to step my eq and compression game up

Hi you can do it with Sylenth but you'll need some e.q on the patch itself and a touch of chorus..hitbwoi wrote:thank you rob,

I want to synthesize the amazing lead from Interplay - Ivory, but haven't really gotten close to it yet. I think there are detuned saws and a bit of phasing, but beyond that I have no idea. I'm not even sure if it's playing chords or single notes.

Any help much appreciated.

Use firefox and no script add on, you may still be able to use the site and download even with noscript installed. I hate flash sites as well, if I had my way I would ban them all from the internet.

Oh that is just great stuff, seems like a perfect match. Lots of modulation going on as well in that patch, helps me learn more about synthesis in general. Thanks a lot!!Lennard wrote: How about this one? (online presets section):
