Yes, I know :( I accept, but I'm not happy  No sir!
Just kidding. I totally agree that the concepts (specially that of the Matrix-12) would ruin DIVA, because it's a totally different approach.
But I would very much welcome the filter module in DIVA

Sure, a Curtis based design is always a possibility.

How do you envisage cramming eight lots of envelope, filter and oscillator controls (which you'd needed to replicate each of the eight individual SEMs) into Diva? :?
Just make possibility to run 8 individual SEMs in Diva

Do you really think THAT was what made the EVS different?
Different to a single SEM, yes.
No kidding...

Aint to do Oberhaim 8voice we just need to do a singel SEM module and give possibility to run up to 8 individul separete SEMs and then creat a claver "switch" to run them:

1) sequenser( switching between up to 8 individual SEM modules)
2) unison( run all up to 8 individul SEM modules in the same time)
3)poliphonic (8 note poliphony created by 8 individul SEM modules) ?

P.s.
The trick with poliphonic mode will be as well with all the rest in Oberheim 8 voice is that unlike in other synths , u can fine tune each SEM modules individualy so as result each note in the cord in for example poliphonic mode will have it's own parameters, and u can get very interesting sounds like no other.

would be rather hard on the cpu... maybe an OB 4voice

I think ones they do a SEM module, they can give possibility to run thouse modules in any quanity 2,4,8 and even 999 and awrybody selects what they need for a particular sound

P.s. for example if u select to ran 999 individual SEM modules u will hear that famouse CPU crackling ..... :hihi:

Showing well how important who is playing the synth! hehe

After the 1. or 3. video i would think: the Matrix 12 was the smallest, cheepest
Oberheim.

We was lucky to see the 2. video too. :hihi:

Thank u for the suggestion, but i alredy told here in this thread why Arturia cannot amulete Oberheim 8 voice at all, if u cannot find let me know and i will give a link why.

There's more suggestions in that thread than just the Arturia.

And they're your best bet, because Diva will never be an EFS emulation for reasons Urs explained a couple of pages back.

(I see that the spell checking hint was too subtle for you. :dog: )

It's a bit difficult to take you seriously about what synth can (or cannot) do something when you have trouble determining differences between Synth Squad and Diva on your own. I recommend you take hakey's suggestions to heart; I have a feeling he's spent more time programming synths than you have.

(And I agree with hakey -- please spend a little more time on spelling and grammar. This isn't SMS, you have an entire keyboard that you can type with and you have plenty of time before pressing the "submit" button.)
